Chapter Text
Lizzie clapped her hands together. “Villains, I’ve gathered you here today to bring you some bad news.” She paused, letting her eyes roam over Joel, Oli, and Meghan for dramatic effect. “This is no longer our base.”
The three tried to edit the base, probably to confirm what they thought she meant, but they couldn’t. Their communicators buzzed, probably with a message letting them know that they couldn’t edit another faction’s territory.
Joel stood up, pain and exhaustion obvious on his face. “I’m out.” He flew over to the fire place.
“Wait, Joel!” She stood up. “We have a plan for revenge!” When Joel stopped to look at her curiously, she continued.
“They may have won the battle, but they have not won the war.” She grinned. “We’re not going to strike back like they expect, no, no, no, no. The secret of war lies in confusing the enemy, so they cannot fathom our true intent.”
She leaned in. “So villains, assemble one final time, to destroy the entire server!”
“I’m in!”
“I’m in.”
“Okay!”
“Alright, we need a plan.” She stood up. “First: we need to kill all of the NPC’s. Make it so the League of Victims can’t trade with them anymore. Next…” She paused. She really hadn’t thought of anything beyond killing the NCP’s. She was kind of hoping The League would be able to come up with some good ideas. “Any ideas?”
“I wanna burn the jungle!” Oli said. “I wanna burn it to the ground!”
“Okay…” Lizzie looked away awkwardly. “You can blow up your own kingdom. That’s fine.”
“Oh!” Meghan raised her hand. “Why don’t we blow up the entire spawn area?”
The other two expressed intrigue at the idea, and Lizzie’s eyebrows rose in shock. She was honestly impressed. Meghan seemed like such a nice, innocent girl, so much so that Lizzie couldn’t believe that she would want to join her league. But it seemed that Meghan had a darker side of her.
Well, I’d be more than honored to bring it out to its fullest potential.
“Let’s get a villain chant going!” Joel grinned. “Villains, Villains, Villains, Villains, Villains, Villains!”
They left the base and made their way towards Oli’s kingdom. Once he was done burning it down they went over to spawn, and once there, Lizzie stood in front of the three and threw out her arms for dramatic effect.
“Take a look around, villains! For this is the last time you will see spawn in its current condition.”
“We are so lucky to be able to see this for the last time.” Joel noted.
Oli nodded sagely. “The final eyes to gaze upon it.”
“I would not want to miss this for the world!”
Lizzie laughed, her small tusks lightly nipping her lips.
“Once we do this guys, there’s no going back.” She warned them, but she didn’t really mean it. She just felt the need to say it, to really let it sink in. She had gotten a flare for the dramatics recently, and while she was usually pretty dramatic, she dimly noted that this was a little out of character for her.
She felt something sting her foot, and she blinked. What had she been thinking about again?
“This will cement us as truly evil!” Lizzie continued from where she left off, mildly confused. “Here we go!”
She reached into her admin powers, relishing in the power she had been restricting herself from for so long. The urge of reaching into her OP powers to destroy her enemies had been so strong, but she had to remind herself that she was supposed to be on an equal playing ground, that she had to remain fair. But the voice in her head had been growing stronger the more she went along the path of villainy.
She floated in the air, the familiar feel of creative mode feeling like home. Power had always been buzzing right under her skin even before she made the Kingdomcraft server, and got a taste of what Admin power was like. It felt right to be floating in the air again, Watching the players below her.
“Alright, I’m going to OP all of you now.” Once the deed was done, she handed them all swords. “Here you go!”
Joel looked at the sword she’d given him, and his eyes almost bulged out of their sockets.
“Sharpness enchantment level 100?!”
She grinned. “First we need to make the NPC’s all vulnerable, then we can kill them.”
Once the deed was done, they went around to slay all of the NPC’s. Joel had quite the grudge against most of them, as it turns out, which was amusing to listen to.
“Alright!” She summoned TNT. “Now get your TNT out, everyone. We need to really cover the spawn area, make sure it’s unrecognizable.”
As they were covering spawn in the TNT, Lizzie paused as she realized something.
“This… might crash the server.”
Oli shrugged. “Well, wouldn’t that be a fitting end?”
As they all stepped back to admire their handiwork, Lizzie had to admit that it looked quite beautiful.
“Wow…” Meghan gasped. “Oh my god!”
“That’s a lot of TNT.” Joel stated.
“Alright.” Lizzie took out her bow-and-arrow. “Any last words? Any objections?”
“Nope!” Joel grinned. “I’m feeling quite satisfied with myself."
“I’m good!” Meghan offered.
“Light it! Light it!” Oli chanted.
Lizzie smirked. She saw a few shadows on the ground, gazing up at them and anxiously waiting for her to light it. They were all watching, anticipating, hungry for the destruction that was about to come.
My Shadow Cadets. She thought proudly, and she fired her bow. It took a second, but soon the first explosion began.
And
It
All
Went
Black…
They appeared in the waiting room between worlds, where members of a server would be sent to by an admin once the end of the server had come.
“What the-” Scott looked around. “Kingdomcraft is over? What happened?”
“I haven’t been on the server in a long time, so I couldn’t tell you.” Lauren shrugged. “Lizzie?”
“Oh.” Lizzie smiled. “Yeah. Sorry about that. We blew up the server.”
“Wait, I’m sorry- WHAT?” Shubble gaped. “You blew up the server?!”
“Yup.” Joel shrugged. “We found out about our base and we decided to do the final strike. We uh… might’ve gone a bit too far, though.”
“You think?” SeapeeKay commented wryly. “I’m curious what led to ‘let’s grief a base’ to ‘let’s blow up the entire server!’.”
“That’s actually not a far step to take.” Joey noted.
“Yeah, sorry about that.” Lizzie exhaled. “I think we all got really into being villains, and maybe the jokes I made about me being corrupted by Herobrine weren’t uh, too far off…”
“Maybe next time don’t include him in your server.” Scott suggested.
“Yeah.” She nodded. “Probably a good idea. Well, will you guys be returning to your homes now?”
“Yup!” Yammy nodded. “It’s where I’ve been for a while anyways.”
“I think I’m gonna start on a new series.” Scott said. “You can all be invited to it! I think I’m gonna call it X Life. We only have ten lives each, but we start out with one heart, and each time we die we gain a heart.”
“Oh! That sounds cool!” Meghan grinned. “I’d love to be on X Life!”
“I might not.” Yammy shrugged. “Probably gonna do my own thing for a bit.”
“Cool.” He gave a thumbs up. “Well, until X Life, or whatever series follows that?”
“Until next time!” They all said simultaneously.
Wilbur pulled out his communicator, having felt it buzz. He expected a message from Tommy or somebody else, but instead it was a player notification.
