Work Text:
Nahyuta and Simon had been working together for years, and in that time, they had become good friends. They trusted each other implicitly, and there was no one else Nahyuta would rather have by his side in the courtroom.
Just in the courtroom, though, there was no way he had romantic inklings towards the man. It would be foolish to let personal feelings get in the way of their work.
Still, one day, after a particularly long and challenging case, Nahyuta felt something more than just friendly towards Simon. He couldn't help but admire the man's strength and how he had never given up, even when the odds were against him.
That night, Nahyuta couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned, thinking about Simon. Eventually, he gave up and went for a walk, ending up at Simon's apartment. Before knocking, he hesitated for a moment but decided he had nothing to lose.
Simon was surprised to see Nahyuta at his door, but he invited him in. They talked for a while, and it quickly became apparent that their feelings were mutual. They kissed, and Nahyuta finally allowed himself to believe that this was real.
