It's a trap.
Rex: Morgan, did you get your letter?"
Morgan: I'm telling you, it's a trap.
Rex: Nonsense, why would it be a trap? Every year we take a road trip somewhere.
Alex: Come on, Morgan, if it's a trap, I can get us all out.
Morgan: Or they'll find a curse strong enough to make you complacent.
Alex: That wouldn't happen.
Morgan: You remember when you forgot who I was because of a curse?
