The rivalry between Harry and Draco was well known throughout the wizarding community. It was a source of entertainment for many to watch the two young men butt heads at every turn.
But there was one person who saw through the facade, who saw the underlying hurt and pain that both boys were hiding.
That person was Hermione Granger.
She saw how Draco's eyes would light up when he saw Harry, how Harry's heart would race when Draco was near.
She knew they were meant to be together, even if they couldn't see it themselves.
So, one day, she took it upon herself to play matchmaker. She cast a spell that would make them both confess their deepest, darkest secrets to each other.
And it worked.
