“Congratulations Steve you’re pregnant”
Steve just stared into space, not knowing how to process the information he had just received
“I’m sorry what did you just say?”
“That you’re pregnant. Are you okay Steve?”
Steve was still trying to process the information
“No not really, I just got told I’m pregnant.”
The nurse looked sympathetic, “it’ll be okay steve. You know you do have other options”
“What? Like get rid of it?”
“Well yes, but it’s your choice.”
Steve thought for a moment, he wasn’t ready for a baby, but the thought of getting rid of his and Eddie’s child was traumatic enough
“No…I’ll keep it…yeah”
The nurse didn’t look too convinced “are you sure Steve? You know you do have time. Talk to the other father, perhaps let him know before you make this huge decision yourself”
Steve left the doctors surgery and Eddie was waiting outside like the perfect boyfriend he was
“So? What’s the verdict?”
Steve sighed “I’m pregnant”
Eddie just stood there for a moment but then jumped up and down. “Dude how exciting is this! A mini us!”
Steve was confused “wait you’re excited?”
Eddie stopped what he was doing “well…yeah aren’t you?”
Steve thought for a moment, if Eddie was really happy about the baby, there was nothing to be scared of
“Of course I am, I was just nervous about your reaction”
Eddie laughed “I know we might be young, but like we defeated vecna. If we can do that surely we can raise a child”
“Yeah you’re right, who should we tell first?”
“Dustin” they both said while laughing
“Wait what! Since when?!”
“Since now Dustin, we only just found out ourselves”
“So I’m the first to know?”
“Yes, and we’d appreciate it, if you didn’t go around telling everyone. We will”
Dustin smiled “have you thought of names yet”
Steve rolled his eyes “we’re not naming it Dustin”
Eddie laughed “plus like Steve can’t be more than a month into the pregnancy butt head”
“Hey I thought we agreed that nickname wouldn’t stick”
“Nah you assumed it wouldn’t stick”
Dustin huffed out a sigh. “You both love me really”
“Of course we do, you’re going to be the main babysitter”
“No hang on…!”
Both Eddie and Steve laughed. This was going to be fun
