–MH 13.47: How is it going? Having fun?
–GL 13.48: Ugh! I feel silly, Myc.
–MH 13.48: Silly? Why do you feel silly?
It was a facetious question. Mycroft knows exactly why Greg feels silly.
–GL 13.50: The way all those people were fussing over me.
Naturally attractive people rarely think much of their looks and Greg Lestrade was the poster child of such. Mycroft was amused by his own choice of words, given the situation.
–MH 13.51: What do you mean?
–GL 13.52: They put me in make-up Mycroft. Powder is one thing, but foundation? No!
–MH 13.53: Not foundation! Rouge too!
Mycroft was not exactly enjoying Greg’s discomfort, but yeah, he was.
–GL 13.53: Oh no, I drew the line at foundation! Wait. You’re mocking me!
–MH 13.54: Just teasing love, only teasing. I promise.
–GL 13.54: Why can’t a simple photo at my desk do? Or a random one from a press conference?
Mycroft could practically hear the whine.
–MH 13.55: Sounds like a you problem. I’ve never had, and never will have, the honor of such, my oh so handsome love.
–GL 13.56: Not helping! At least they’re done with the shoot.
–MH 13.56: Just remember it’s a calendar for charity. You are a semi-known figure.
–GL 13.57: Small price to pay, I know. Just felt silly being all primped and prodded.
–MH 13.58: So, if you’re done, any proofs you care to share?
–GL 14.00: Ha! Knew you’d ask. Sent.
He grinned at the photo sent. It was a really good one and once again he felt honored to call this most gorgeous man his husband.
Mycroft had every intention to type: Gorgeous, isn’t he? and forward it to Anthea, but the predictive text on his phone had other ideas. Mycroft took a screenshot.
–MH 14.03: Clearly, we engage in an ample amount of sexting based on the “suggestions”.
–GL 14.04: What do you mean?
He sent the screenshot to Greg.
–MH 14.06: Though I dare say the left option is quite true, and gloriously MINE!
