The suppressor cuffs are not coming off anytime soon. Dooku has a very simple explanation for this: Qui-Gon is dead.
Qui-Gon can believe this. He remembers with awful clarity being stabbed through the gut. The disbelief. Obi-Wan’s desperation.
And now, there is a dreadful grief that weighs every breath. Qui-Gon is back. He’s alive. He does not feel alive. He feels like everything is an effort, and that he has lost something—important. But here he is, pinned in place by another man’s grief and nailed to existence with a pair of cuffs.
Qui-Gon Jinn wakes in a profoundly changed world—and to a profoundly changed former Master. Stranded in Dooku’s Serenno stronghold, Qui-Gon will have to unravel the plots and lies around him before Dooku drags him down as well.
