The thuds of moving bed frames and tumultuous giggling filled the hotel halls. A much too expensive shoe kicked open the door to one of the rooms.
“Are you guys going to help or what?” His British accent really coming out on the ’a’ of the last word. His sleeves were rolled up and he used his forearm to push his fringe from his face. He leaned against the mattress he was in charge of pulling with his arms crossed and waited for a reply.
“What? George, are you asking a half-blind person to help push a mattress?” Dream called in fake astonishment from his place on the other mattress placed on the floor. Karl’s hotel room looked like it had been trashed as the boys attempted to make space for two queen mattresses.
“You’re not blind, you’re an idiot.” George deadpanned. Dream pouted at him and fell back into Karl’s arms who giggled.
“Oh my god. POV George just called you an idiot.” Dream playfully pushed at him while joining in on the giggles. It quickly turned into a tickle fight. George stared at them, he wanted to join in but the idea of being tickled was kind of overwhelming right now. God, he wanted to shower.
“George! Help me push this mattress!” Sapnap yelled from out in the hall. It was probably more of a whine but George’s tired brain didn’t want to have to read the undertones of Sapnap’s voice right now. He responded with a ‘Don’t yell idiot!’ and then begrudgingly helped the smaller brunette push the mattress.
When they’d finally laid the mattress next to the other one Dream opened his arms.
“Pandas come cuddle.” Sapnap shook his head.
“No, I’m gross. Gonna shower.” He was tired, all three of them could tell. George’s head popped up.
“Me too, wanna join?” He spoke as he threw his shirt off and sauntered into the bathroom. Sap’s body went as stiff as a board as he turned to look at Karl and Dream. The excitement on his face made him look like a puppy who’d just heard the word ‘walk’. The brunette in the bathroom poked his head out.
“You coming?” With that Sap all but ran into the bathroom and slammed the door shut, only the sounds of water running and muffled giggles could be heard.

While Sapnap and George showered, Karl and Dream took the time to bask in the quiet. Finally, after four days of being surrounded by the sounds of their adoring fans, they could relax in peace and not have to worry about rolling out of beds and cracking open skulls.
Their relationship was all pretty much new. George and Karl were still getting used to actually seeing Dream’s face. Finally getting to see the face of the boy they loved so much, finally getting to see his mannerisms and his reactions to things in person. They’d both been so jealous that Sapnap got to see that almost every day. And Dream wanted to wait until he revealed his face for him to say yes to officially dating them. Karl knew Sapnap was ecstatic they could finally be together, it was he who fell first.
Karl ran his hand through Dream’s curls, narrowly missing the patch covering up one green puppy dog eye.
“How are you feeling? Ya know after this morning?” Karl whispered not wanting to ruin the peacefulness. For a second the brunette thought Dream had fallen asleep. He could feel deep breaths hitting his collarbone but the blonde's hand moved to spin the ring on his index finger.
“A lot better than I did when I woke up. I thought I was dying.” His voice had a bit of a whine to it. Dream had been like that all day though, whiny and cuddly. The traumatic experience of waking up to his hands covered in his own blood made him want to be held and loved all day. Karl respected that and granted him all the cuddles and kisses he wanted. And the fans were happy with the clingy Dream content.
He placed a kiss on the crown of Dream’s head.
“Yeah? I’m glad.”
“The eye patch was weird, was weird not being able to see properly.” Karl giggled.
“Of course, it’s weird, idiot.” Dream also giggled and moved his head to look at Karl directly.
“No that’s not-You know what I-“ Karl pressed a kiss to Dream’s lips.
“I know Honey, I’m just teasing.” Karl whispered. A giggle almost slipped out again when he saw Dream’s flushed face, a pout sitting on his lips. He kissed him again.
They lay there for a while longer before Karl could feel himself drifting off to sleep, falling into a world of calm and dreams.
Sapnap would never admit it but he kind of loved being the smaller one. He could steal everyone’s hoodies, could be the little spoon whenever he wanted and could sit in all of his boyfriend’s laps. But, right now he was enjoying laying his head on George's shoulder under the calming water of the shower. Their chests were touching, their stomachs were pressed together which if this was months ago would never have happened. Sapnap had always been a bit insecure about his tummy. How could he not, his boyfriends all looked so tall and slim while he..wasn’t. It took him a while to get comfortable with being shirtless around them and letting them touch his stomach. But through nights of body worship and praise as well as tickle fights he slowly became more comfortable.
Sap probably would have fallen asleep when George squeezed him tight against him and placed a kiss on his cheek.
“You ready to get out Love?” His accent was always thicker when he was tired but Sapnap loved it. He nodded against George’s shoulder.
Before he knew it he was sitting on the toilet seat wrapped in a towel. George had ducked out of the bathroom to get them some clothes. When the brit came back he had two shirts, one of Dream’s, one of Karl’s and two pairs of boxers. He threw Dream’s at Sap and started slipping on Karl’s.
“Hey, what if I wanted Karl’s shirt?” Sapnap pouted. He actually didn’t care, he loved the way Dream smells but he thought George would have given him a choice. George shot him a tired look.
“Couldn’t find a different one and don’t like the way that shirt feels. Makes m’jaw hurt and m’skin feel gross.” He mumbled out and Sapnap had to strain to hear him. George had a weird thing with textures (and tomatoes but that's a different story) and a tired George was less tolerant of stuff that made him upset and uncomfy. Sapnap just gave him a nod and shrugged on the shirt.
“They’re asleep by the way.”
“Seriously?”
“Yup Dre still has his shoes on and everything.” Sap huffed out a laugh, now purposefully trying to be quiet. He pushed the door softly, hoping it wouldn’t squeak, just enough for the bathroom light to illuminate their boyfriends. They both melted.
Dream was snuggled into Karl, his head tucked under his chin and arms wrapped around him. While Karl had one hand in the blonde’s hair and one on his back. They looked almost silly, gigantic Dream cuddled into his smaller boyfriend’s arms. It was cute.
“He has shoes on the mattress.” George spoke, a ghost of a whine hiding somewhere in the words. Sapnap turned to him. The taller brunette was glaring at the shoes. Sap stifled a giggle, flicked off the bathroom light and walked over to defeat the great enemy that was Dream’s Nike shoes on the bed.
He tried to be as gentle as he could, taking the shoes off. When he finally got one off Dream stirred.
“Watchu doin’?” His words were slurred, he definitely wasn’t awake. Sap rubbed his knee to comfort.
“Just taking off your shoes Baby.” Dream made a noise of agreement and snuggled back into Karl. Sapnap had to almost wrestle with the last shoe until it came sliding off with a pop. He looked over his shoulder and saw George carrying a pile of blankets and waddling over.
“I guess we’re sandwiching today.” George said with a sigh. Sapnap chuckled quietly.
“I guess so.” before climbing into the mattress. He wiggled under Karl’s arm until he could fit perfectly and hide his face into the taller boy’s neck.
George threw the blankets over them with a huff. He too climbed into bed and wrapped his arms around Dream’s middle. He took a breath of Dream’s scent, he never understood how the blonde always managed to smell so nice even after the long day they’d had. Maybe if he asked Dream would tell him his secrets.
