”Come with me, my beloved.”
Ever since Lucy Heartfilia had met him, she had never thought she’d hear him say those words. And when he said them, Lucy knew she would eventually agreed. It wasn’t a demand nor was it said in a treacherous tone. No, Natsu Dragneel had said it in a gentle, yet seductive tone of voice while he held her hand in his. He pressed a kiss on the back of her palm, never breaking the eye contact.
Lucy had met him on a rainy night in Magnolia and she was immediately drawn to him when their eyes met. He had been a true temptation. He was polite and charming. Absolutely enchanting. He was also incredibly handsome and Lucy couldn’t believe that a man like him was talking to her.
She was also immediately aware that he wasn’t human at all.
Natsu Dragneel was a vampire. He didn’t even have to tell her about it because she could easily tell what he was. Vampires were finally accepted as a part of the Fiorean society now after being oppressed for centuries. Lucy had always been fascinated by the creatures of the night and thought she had been unbelievably lucky when she met Natsu. He had also been wearing old fashioned clothes that nobody wore in the modern world anymore. She knew he was from a different time. Like an embodiment of the past world and it just added to his mysterious charm.
They began talking, usually during nighttime because Lucy just didn’t have heart to demand him to change his daily routines to fit hers. Instead, she was the one who changed hers so she could talk with this fascinating man as much as she could. She was soon completely smitten with him even if she wasn’t sure he felt the same for her.
”Are you sure you want me to join you?” Lucy asked him and smiled.
”I don’t want anything as much as you to be by my side until the end of time, Lucy”, Natsu answered in his wonderful, old fashioned way of speaking. He also smiled, as he looked at her.
”Are you in love with me, Natsu?” Lucy asked quietly, even though she knew the answer. Natsu had told her that vampire men, once they find their life partner, they would ask them to become part of their world so they could be together forever. He had told her that if the partner was a human, they would bite them and turn them into a vampire. He had also told her that vampire women usually chose to be with a vampire man instead of humans.
Natsu nodded. ”My search of a life partner is finally over as my heart has chosen you. The moment I saw you I knew that you are the one I’m destined to be with”, he confessed.
Lucy couldn’t help but feel how her heart skipped a beat when she heard those words. So she smiled and stepped closer to him.
”Take me with you and make me yours forever, Natsu”, she whispered to him as she touched his handsome face with her fingers, thinking she must be dreaming because she was finally able to do this after thinking about it for days.
Natsu smiled as he raised his hands and ran them through her blonde hair before he put them on the sides of her head. She shivered in pleasure because of his touch and sighed. She had wanted to feel his touch on her skin for days now and couldn’t believe that it had finally happened.
”I have wanted to do this for a while now”, Natsu told her in a low, enchanting voice that Lucy would never want to stop listening to. It was like the most pleasant music she had ever heard.
”You can do that any time you wish”, Lucy told him as he pressed his lips on her forehead, making her shiver even more from pleasure.
”We shall leave this city tonight”, Natsu told her. ”I will take you to my residence.”
Lucy nodded, and then she kissed her vampire lover, who returned the kiss while holding her in his arms. After that she and him left the apartment Lucy had been living in for years and she never looked back. It was like she was walking on a path that was meant for her. After all, she had nothing to lose in life – by doing this she’d gain so much and thus she intertwined her fingers with Natsu’s as they walked out of Magnolia that night, never to be seen again in the city and she had no regrets. When Natsu finally made her his in his mansion few days later, she was happy that she had found someone she wanted to be with for the rest of her human life, and for the rest of her vampire life as well.
