Chapter Text
“James! Move your butt before I move it for you!” Sirius was fed up with waiting. He’d been standing there for almost 20 minutes telling James to wrap up the game he’d been playing for almost 2 hours.
“Shut up! I’m almost finished for god's sake!” James was getting frustrated at this point. It took another 15 minutes for the game to end, and Sirius was in a serious (pun unintended) mood with him as he put on his skates and James put his hockey stick aside.
Sirius went out into the rink as James got into the moist, dewy shower that he hated but desperately needed after the 2-hour practice. By the time he showered, got dressed and packed up his stuff, Sirius was almost done with his figure skating practice. But James managed to catch the last 20 minutes and honestly enjoyed every second.
Afterwards, Sirius showered and changed before they both hopped into Sirius’s new Tesla – which he worked very hard for and made sure to remind everyone who rode in it.
The rest of the day was rather boring since all they did was go to a small café that they loved that was just down the street from the ice rink. The only even slightly eventful thing that happened was Sirius seeing some cute guy typing on a brown computer with a bunch of stickers of old books on it. The man was quite tall and had fluffy light brown hair with green eyes and a woolly jumper that was much too big on him.
Once Sirius was done admiring the man, they headed back home, making a quick stop at Tesco for eggs for the morning. They then went ahead to get into their comfiest pjs (Sirius a black dog onesie and James a deer onesie) they made some microwaveable popcorn and put on Legally Blonde in the living room.

The next morning was a rush since Sirius had his big figure skating competition today and had to be up and ready to leave by 8am. This wasn’t a problem for James, since he was a morning person and woke up at literally sunrise to go for a morning run. It was a problem for Sirius though, since he usually woke up at around 9am if he had the choice since he rarely went to bed before 2am.
They managed to arrive at the skating rink by 7:47am and to say the least, Sirius was exhausted. James wasn’t though. A lot of the figure skaters getting ready for the competition were quite attractive, so James found himself watching a lot of them.
The person who really caught his eye was a young man with dark brown/black hair and a very pretty face. His eyes were a lovely emerald green and he was wearing a black bodysuit with a little black skirt. He was adorable. Another thing James noticed, was that the man was with the guy with the brown hair and woolly jumper from yesterday.
James nudged Sirius slightly; “Hey, pads, look,” he nodded his head in the guys direction. Sirius’ face went from worried to terrified. He went completely pale and looked like he was about to throw up. “What’s wrong?” James was worried now.
Sirius tried to relax his face a bit, trying not to give away his fear.
“It’s nothing, Jamie. Let’s just get this over with and go have some Maccies.”
“Yeah, okay.”

Sirius’s turn was before the man with the emerald eyes, which seemed to worry him a bit more. But he assured James he was fine and went out and did the performance he’d been practicing for weeks. It was breathtaking. He got a high score of 26 out of 30.
Next was the man with the emerald eyes. He was spectacular and James couldn’t take his eyes off him. When he did, towards the end of the man's performance, he saw that Sirius had visibly tensed up.
“Are you sure you’re okay, Sirius?”
“I don’t really know,” he said, not quite knowing what to say or do.
“What is it, Pads?” James asked, curious to know what was wrong with his best friend.
“James, that’s my little brother,” Sirius sighed as James looked at him confused.
“Wait, but you don’t have a little brother. You have a little sister.”
“I used to have a little sister now I have a little brother,” James then realized.
“And that’s him? Are you sure?”
“Yep, and he’s coming right towards us with that hot friend of his,” Sirius wiggled his eyebrows at James.
That was when the guy with the emerald eyes and the guy with the fluffy brown hair came up to them.
“Hey, Sirius. Long time no see,” the man with the emerald eyes smirked at James and James blushed furiously. Sirius scoffed before embracing his brother in a hug.
“Hey, little brother.”
