Aoki sighed happily as Ida’s fingers continued to move gently against his scalp. He leaned back more; nestling comfortably in the cradle between Ida’s legs. The rug was soft underneath his hands, the fabric of the sofa a little rough against his back. If there was such a thing as a perfect moment, then this exact moment in time would surely be close to it.
Ida’s fingers continued to move in circles, removing the last remains of tension in Aoki’s body. Aoki’s hand reached out, a will of its own, and grabbed Ida’s wrist, their fingers intertwining. Aoki placed a kiss to the back of Ida’s hand, letting his lips linger for a moment. His head tilted, his cheek against Ida’s hand.
Up on the sofa Ida smiled and leaned down to rest his head on Aoki’s shoulder, pressing his lips against Aoki’s soft cheek.
It was just a small moment in the vast ocean of time, but it was what made time meaningful.
