Juntae took a moment. Then, recognition flooded his mind. “Tak-ah?!”
It was hard for Juntae to match the image in his mind of Go Hyuntak—a round face, wide eyed boy who came just up to Juntae’s shoulders—to the man who was standing in front of him now.
Go Hyuntak had broad shoulders, thick arms, and a fucking handsome face. Plus, he was tall—nearly a head taller than Juntae. He didn’t notice before, since all the players on the court were the same size. He had to tilt his head up to talk to him.

Summary
Seo Juntae lived through precise and perfect routine all of his life. Even as he dared to defy Hyoman back in high school and later on, seperate from his old friend group to make new ones - there were old habits he couldn't break. It wasn't easy for him. These things were wired into his very existence, and rebelling against it felt like going against nature and instinct. It simply was not possible.
One of these things was suppressing his secondary gender.
But as he leads into university with the determination to become someone new, he begins to forget that attempts at creating a new identity will eventually result into breaking his old one. Bit by bit, his motivation to be someone else entirely has him absolutely shattering on one unlucky day, when his new self manages to overshadow his old self's strict habit. That habit being, taking his necessary heat suppressants and wearing his scent blockers.
