Sleepy Twins

Summary:

The twins are sleepy, and Paimon feels upset...

Work Text:

"Aether! Lumine!"

Her eyes were glaring at the "lazy" Honorary Twin Knights of Mondstadt - Aether and Lumine. They just woke up about roughly one hour ago, and much to the little fairy's dismay...they instead went to sleep again instead of hanging out with their friends outside.

Paimon was very frustrated, they never acted like this before.

"It's already morning! Get up from the bed right now!" Paimon scolded.

"Paimon, we're just taking a nap..." Lumine said.

"A nap!?"

"Don't worry, Paimon..." Aether yawned. "Just give us a few minutes, okay..."

Paimon doubted every of their words. Actually, it would take more than an hour before the twins wake up again.

"Fine! Paimon just wait then!" Paimon angrily turned away with her arms crossed on the chest.

However, as a few minutes passed, Paimon also slowly felt sleepy, and she even yawned a little. Yet she strongly tried to resist it.

"Come on, Paimon. Don't fall asleep, don't fall asleep..." Paimon mumbled.

"Paimon..."

Paimon soon noticed the twins were holding her from behind.

"You're feeling sleepy too, right?" Lumine asked.

"N-no!" Paimon answered.

"Are you sure?" Aether smirked.

"Stop treating Paimon like a kid!" Paimon felt annoyed.

They knew it, Paimon was lying.

"Hey! What are you guys doing!? Let Paimon go!"

Paimon resisted as the twins pulled her, placed the little fairy between themselves on the bed.

"Paimon, you should take some rest too..." Aether said.

"But Paimon-"

"Shhhh..." Lumine placed her finger on Paimon's lips. "Just go to sleep, okay?"

Sighing in defeat, Paimon felt Aether's hand was patting her head. Finally she closed her eyes as she succumbed to her own sleepiness.

...

Paimon slowly opened her eyes. She noticed Aether and Lumine were still sleeping, and their room was even "brighter" than usual.

Wait a minute. Paimon felt something was wrong.

"AETHER! LUMINE! WAKE UP! IT'S ALREADY NOON!" Paimon yelled.

"WHAT!?" the twins finally rose up from the bed, their eyes widened in shock.

Well, that was a very long nap, isn't it?

The end.
