Summary:

Lately, there's been something suspicious about the Feiyun Commerce Guild, but Xingqiu can't bring himself to investigate. He's so exhausted from managing the silk trade that he struggles to do anything else. Meanwhile, the others refuse to stand idly by, and they uncover a much greater, sinister scheme.

Things to Know Before You Read:

  • I usually shoot to post about once a month, although I may post more or less depending on my energy levels. I have a full-time job which is not writing fanfiction :(
  • This work is a slow burn, and it's a long fic! The main characters are:
    • Xingqiu
    • Zhongli
    • Chongyun
    • Lumine (she/her)
    • Venti
    • Xiao
    • Noelle
  • Characters with less canon content will get more headcanons, although I try to stay as close as possible to the source material.
  • All the tagged characters will make an actual appearance in the story.
    • I tag retroactively, so if you're looking for someone, they're already here.
    • I can't guarantee they'll get a lot of screen time, but I promise that they'll use their time meaningfully.
    • Albedo, Kaeya, Jean, and Diluc (including Darknight Hero Diluc) are the most prominent secondary characters.
  •  I include TWs in the description before a chapter if it's relevant.
    • This fic is not particularly graphic or extreme. If you are sensitive to homophobic remarks/depictions of familial physical abuse, then you should read with caution.
    • I gave this a Teen rating for that and scenes with gore. 
  • This work isn't beta read.
    • I check for grammatical errors and I use Grammarly, but I'm not perfect. If you see consistent mistakes, please let me know so I can go back and improve my work! I won't break into a million tiny pieces :p

About Me:

  • I've been playing Genshin since 1.2, and my favorite regions are Mondstadt and Liyue! Enkanomiya gets an honorable mention for the fantastic soundtrack.
  • Venti is my favorite character, and I still play him every day! This is why he's basically Paimon. (Plus, it makes the most sense for his character. Most characters have jobs, he does not lmao). 
  • My mains (triple crowned) characters are: Venti, Xiao, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Noelle, Zhongli, Yaoyao, and Nahida.
