   Summary

   Eddie knew he was still one of the most powerful of their kind. It was he who commanded the armies of the dead, it was he who was the warden of Tartarus and the vile creatures that lay within. It was he who was the son of darkness herself, it was he who commanded Death and it was he who was married to Life. Eddie had fought Vecna before and won and still, the Titan sent a cold bolt of fear down his spine.

   More powerful still was Steve, who was Life incarnate, who used his careful hands to create anything he dreamt of, and who commanded the seed to take root and blossom, and who called nature to live and die with every breath he took. Steve tolerated his power at best, keeping it on a tight leash and only actively using it when absolutely necessary. He knew the weight of the power he commanded and he used it wisely, sparingly.
