really, jeff doesn’t mind having a woman’s body.
at first, she’d been horrified - all the different parts and fleshy colors, stitched haphazardly in a way that hadn’t been as clean as she’d done for elizabeth. but elizabeth had assured her things were all right, had said, “you’re really you, now, jeff,” and hell, she must be right about that because jeff has never felt freer than she does with long smooth legs and hair that goes past her shoulders.
elizabeth had always been a transvestite, jeff knew, but somehow, that hadn’t been enough to give her the courage to do it herself. when elizabeth was killed, jeff wanted her back, so she brought her back. she didn’t have to revive her with women’s parts, but she did, and elizabeth - once jeff was able to reign her under control - seemed to love it, so clearly, jeff had done something right.
and lizzie’s done something right, too, because she’s returned the favor. jeff doesn’t have to tell her she’s transsexual; lizzie always knew, because of course she did. she’s lovely, and she loves jeff so much - just not as much as jeff loves her.
neither of them really know how to cook. jeff was never good at it, and whatever kitchen ability elizabeth had once possessed vanished with her death and is yet to be gained back. but one of those hookers was probably an ace chef, so if they work together, the eggs don’t get too runny, the casseroles aren’t heinously burnt.
there is the odd time one or the other or the both of them will get the hankering for human flesh, but - well, what’s to be done about that but carry out on the craving?
and they can do it together, which is all jeff ever wanted after elizabeth died.
