Work Text:
You hadn’t arrived together, so Wally goes breathless when you enter the ballroom. You’re swept up in a gorgeous, red-orange gown, far too precious and extravagant for the people here. They don’t deserve to see you like this. But, at the same time, he’s proud, and his regrets of attending the event fade. He might even thank Dick, really.
Especially when you lock eyes from across the room.
Your gaze is full, dark, and has him steaming on the spot. Slowly, a smirk twists your painted lips—in his favourite colour, too. He tugs at his tie as sinful thoughts swirl in his brain.
You’ve only just made an appearance, but there’s no way you’ll be staying the designated two hours now that you’ve gone and looked at him like that.
