   Summary

   Later, they do have sex - Xie Lian starts to heal, and starts to want that with Hua Cheng - but until he communicates that very (very very) clearly, Hua Cheng's interactions with him are completely nonsexual, even when he's out of his mind with rut.

   He still has alpha instincts of "must claim mate" and "must defend mate" - but "must make sure mate is happy and feels safe" is the strongest of all.
