Summary
Max’s love for Billy, or rather her guilt for his death and her survival was a powerful thing. Someone, or perhaps something heard her pleas, heard her letter ‘Dear Billy…’ Love and guilt are powerful devices and one thing was certain; Billy Hargrove could not have been described as a good man but his last act was a good deed and so whatever power heard Max’s pleading decided perhaps things could be altered for a second chance.
Billy isn't the only one who seems to be granted a second chance, but is he alive or is this some place in limbo, a place real but not real, a different sort of Upside Down?
There are conditions to Billy's second chance and it's up to him to meet them or say goodbye a final time.
