Chapter Text
Langa watches in awe as Reki draws on the back of a new board he'd been working on. Langa has seen him doodle a thousand times everyday and has never tired of whatching him experiment and create new designs. And all of those thousand times, he'd create something unique and colorful that Langa'd never seen before.
Reki's eyes lit up differently too when he created. His face was filled with wonder and millions of ideas that he kept in his head, eager to get out. The way his eyes glittered and glowed and danced was so fascinating.
Langa loved the boys beautiful eyes the most.
"Hey, bro?" Reki says as he finishes up a sketch on the skateboard. This drawing was the biggest one and was placed at the balance point, almost nine inches in length. It was Langa's mascot; a big, smiling yeti.
"Yeah?" Langa replies, still admiring the red haired boy's mannerisms.
Reki looks up from his art, "I want you to choose the colors for this one."
"Yeah..." Langa buffers. "Wait what?"
Reki smiles softly. "I'm making this one for you bro."
"I mean... I don't want to...." He admires Reki's soft smile and lips before glancing at the board. "I don't want to ruin it, it looks cooler your way. I dont draw."
"And 3 or 4 months ago you didn't skate either," the redhead bounces as he rolls his eyes in a slight annoyance. "Who really gives a fuck wether you draw dude. It'll be cooler to work together right?"
Langa loves it when he cusses. It reminds him that he isn't some skating angel that dropped out of heaven just for him to keep his will to live. Reki was just a badass. It was also hot when he did so but whatever.
Reki cocks his head to the side, "Right?"
The blue haired boy stares lightly at the other, absorbing his facial features like he did everytime he looked at him. "Yeah."
_ _
"I like you Langa please touch my boobs!!"
"Shut up Reki, she didn't even say that."
Reki throws his head back as he laughs, barely being able to catch his breath. The fence of the roof shakes slightly against his laughter as it echoes. The blue haired one was clueless as to why the other found this so hysterical— it was really irritating to Langa having to deal with girls sometimes.
"Man, If I were you I totally would've definitely said yes to her. She was handsome, handsome girls are the best."
Langa furrows his eyebrows. Why was he so obsessed with him accepting a girls feelings? Couldn't he just understand? "If you were me you wouldn't have yes either."
He scoffs, "Whatever dude, fuck you."
Langa angrily takes a bite of the sandwich his mother gave him, ignoring Reki. He was annoying when is came girls, crushes... and love. Langa avoided the subject with him.
"...Hey, Langa...?"
"Yeah?"
"Um..." Langa hears a slight shifting sound next to him and feels a little bit of the redheads warmth against his arm. Reki
smelled of dust and tools; but he always had a slightly sweet fragrance lingering around him. Langa wanted a candle with his smell. "Are you even..." He stops and covers his mouth.
Langa turns to look the other in his loving eyes, their faces a little too close. Not that hes complaining but he was sure Reki could hear his heart pounding and jumping in his chest. Nevertheless, he smiles and inches closer, "Just spit it out."
"Haha," the other turns away and fidgets with his hands. "Do you like girls?"
Finally. "I'm not interested in them."
"Are... you... gay...?"
Langa feels his gaze soften on the other. Fuck, how long he'd waited for this conversation. "I don't know. I know that I definitely like men. Girls as friends are just more fun to me."
"I see..." he pauses, "how'd you know? That you weren't straight?"
Now this, was a surprise. "I was never sure, about girls growing up... but guys were always there. They were always prettier."
"Isn't there only, like, 3 options? Gay, Bisexual, straight?"
"Nah," The blue haired boy looks up at the sky as his cup overflows with pure joy. Reki was asking him for advice about this? Did he have a chance now? "There's so many dude. Pansexual for example means you dont care about gender. Personality matters the most."
Reki tilts his head to the side. "So do they just fuck everyone?"
"I guess you could say that."
There's a short silence. The wind blows quietly as Langa whatches Reki ponder. "Thanks for being comfortable telling me, Langa. That's some serious shit."
"Thanks for being accepting. And if you ever have a queer crisis, I'm here."
Langa wouldn't sleep at all tonight. His thoughts would be too over-flowing with the redheads smell and skin and beauty and lips for him to rest. And now...
He had a chance.
