Summary
Reki was the sun, bright and all-consuming, and instead of reflecting his light like the moon, Langa absorbed it. And his dark, crater-filled lump of rock he called a heart couldn’t give any of it back.
That was why he had to get rid of his crush on Reki.
Langa hadn’t known when these feelings for Reki had started. A few weeks after his dad’s funeral, his mom had suggested that the two boys should hang out. They both pretended that it was because his mom and Reki’s mom were friends in high school and thought it would be a good pairing, but Langa knew the truth.
His mom wanted them to hang out because Langa was a social outcast whose only friend was his now-dead father, and she needed to force someone to hang out with him so that he didn’t spend all day in his bed thinking about nothing.
After his dad's death, Langa, a local snowboarding celebrity, can't find any motivation anymore. Reki Kyan, artist and skateboarding expert, can't stop caring about what people think about him. When these two are forced together, they change each other's lives forever. When Reki lies about having a date to prom he and Langa start a fake dating relationship.
The only problem? Their feelings aren't so fake. -

And finally, Noelle is hopelessly in love with another girl, and it's only a matter of time until her mother finds out.
Susie Sauria is entering her final year of High School. Susie knows that she's never going to be able to make anything of her life. She has one (1) friend, and is reasonably sure they'd ditch her if given the chance. She's teetering on the poverty line. Her father's a jackass. She wants to move out, but that would require her to have a place to go afterwards. And finally, Susie is stuck getting tutored by the smartest girl in her class, and it's only a matter of time until that too falls apart.
At the moment, they couldn't be more different. But through heartache and hardship, they'll find themselves inexorably drawn together. A lot can happen in one school year, and this is one that they're sure to never forget.

He has had enough of needing to experience Langa being head over heels for his best friend, and Reki being unconsciously so in love with him while somehow still thinking he's straight.
Does Reki even realize that holding hands with your best bro when you walk isn't very heterosexual of him?
He's so done.
He's so done, that he just NEEDS them to finally get together, or he will lose his mind.
He needs to make a plan for that, so the two of them finally stop bothering him.
