After Yugo ended the stream, the four Noctyx members stayed for a bit in VC, to talk about the stream and assure their blue haired genmate he did great.
"It was an awesome stream, Yugo. Don't worry about us not getting the answers! It's for content, right?" Fulgur explained kindly, his voice clearly happy as he talked
"I'm sure everyone enjoyed it" Uki supplied in his calm voice "I enjoyed it very much too, thank you, Yugo"
"Yeah, but it's definitely not the last game show we'll have, okay?" Yugo said as he realized what they were saying, instead he became more determined "Next time we'll have neko-chan and we'll have even more fun, yeah?"
"Yeah, definitely!" Sonny agreed "Great Job hosting the game, Yugo"
"Thank you, Sonny" Yugo said gratefully "Are you going to Alban now?" His voice took on a worried tone "Tell him to take plenty of rest okay and don't worry about missing the game today"
"Make sure he rests okay? Bring him to the doctors if he still doesn't get better soon" Uki supplied, sounding worried too. Fulgur agreed as well, reminding Sonny to let them know if he and Alban ever needed anything else.
Their resident phantom thief cat had been under the weather for a while now.
"Yeah, thanks guys" the blond said "I'll go check on him, call you guys later, okay?" The other three Noctyx boys understood and just told him to go ahead.
Sonny got out of the room they used to stream and went to their room to check up on the brunette.
Earlier today, Alban was still trying his best to convince him and the others that he was still planning to join the game and he should be well enough if he rested a little more. As the day progressed, however, his throat still wasn't faring well, and he still couldn't speak. Heck, he couldn't even call Sonny's name properly.
It broke Sonny's heart.
He knew Alban wouldn't want to miss this collaboration. But his health was much more important.
In the end, he had to ask Alban to sit the game out tonight. The way the younger looked up at him broke his heart even further.
"But—" Alban's voice cracked so bad and he sounded weak.
Sonny sighed and shook his head firmly "Your health is more important, Alban. It's okay, the others understand and wanted you to rest too"
Alban didn't argue, but the way he looked down disappointed didn't miss Sonny's eyes. He hated the fact that Alban was feeling sick for a while now, and he couldn't do much but try to make him feel better.
He quickly hugged him tight "S-Sonny" Alban rasped "D-don't. What if…you get…sick too?!"
"I don't mind" and truthfully he did. Alban refused to let him sleep on their bed ever since he started feeling unwell and Sonny had to camp in their guestroom. Of course, Sonny did stole some quick naps beside him when he knew Alban was deep in sleep, but the brunette didn't need to know that
"No…Sonny…you can't"
"Okay, okay. Don't worry about me. You rest or I'll take you to the doctors if you still don't feel well"
Alban didn't like that idea very much, so he quickly followed Sonny's request. The blond smiled and waited for him to fall asleep before he set up for joining the stream later.
"Alban?"
Oh.
He found the younger male fast asleep, he was hugging Sonny's pillows close too. His phone was right by his hand, as if he had fallen asleep using the device. He looked so damn cute he couldn't resist taking out his phone and snapping a few ( read: a lot) of photos for his personal collection.
Hnnnggg. So cute —
That moment was short-lived when Alban coughed slightly, and Sonny was instantly by his side. He pressed the back of his hand to the brunette's neck, checking if he had a fever.
"...Sonny?" Alban woke up at the time, feeling the cool hand on his head. It felt nice.
"Hey" Sonny smiled gently. "How are you feeling?" He helped him get up, and chuckled at Alban's adorable bed hair. He would have loved nothing more than to kiss him, but Alban would definitely glare at him.
Would still be worth it though.
The brunette sighed and huffed "Sucky. I hate feeling sick…"
"I'm sure you'll get better soon. Don't force yourself" Sonny hasn't removed his hand and Alban realized he was still holding onto the blond. He loved it though
Alban has been craving Sonny's warmth ever since he couldn't sleep next to him in fear of causing Sonny to fall sick too.
"I hope so. I hate having to cancel streams…and I miss you being next to me"
It took quite the willpower from Sonny not to kiss him right then and there. Alban was already cute on a normal day, but when he was sick, or just out of it, his cuteness grew tenfold.
"I miss you too, now rest more so you can feel better" Sonny was never really the nursing type, more than anything, he would probably be the one to be nursed, but somehow, he was able to do it for Alban. He helped the brunette settle back to bed.
"Thank you, Sonny…" Alban's eyelids were dropping again, and soon, he seemed to have fallen back asleep.
"Get well soon, baby" Thinking he was fast asleep, Sonny did give in to temptation and pecked a quick kiss before going out of the room to let him get some rest
Of course Alban was actually awake and his face was flushed for a full minute following Sonny's actions
Goddamnit, why is he so cute?
Meanwhile, Sonny was smiling as he went to the kitchen to make some food for when Alban wakes up later.
Some soup would be good.
Did he notice I knew he was awake? Dammit, why is he so cute when he's sick?
