Sonny Brisko wasn't a man who gets easily flustered. Most of the time, at least. He was level headed enough to always respond with witty and sometimes snarky remarks to most of the people he interacts with.
Of course there was always an exception.
That exception came in today's sportsfest collab wearing a white shirt (too thin for Sonny's liking), red gym shorts ( too short for Sonny's liking ), some white high socks, and a white bandana on his head.
Needless to say, Sonny Brisko fell into stunned silence.
Before he could say anything, Alban noticed him and instantly waved, his bright smile instantly melting up whatever black emotion Sonny started to feel. The brunette immediately ran up to him. "Sonny! You're here!"
Alban and his radiantly positive energy always made Sonny smile "Alban"
He could tell the younger was excited, he was practically bouncing up and down. He always wanted to do more collabs with their japanese senpais so it was understandable he was looking forward to it.
There was only one thing Alban didn't expect: "I wanted to be on the same team though…"
"I wanted to be on the same team too" Sonny sighed, he was rather unhappy with that decision, but the draft was taken via random roulette, so none of them really had a choice, not that he actually mind any other senpais being his teammates.
Alban chuckles and gives him a nade nade "that's okay, we'll still have fun and at least we can be rivals this time! I even got dressed up for the occasion, see?" He turns around and shows his whole outfit to the blond.
Sonny had to stop his eyes from staring too obviously at certain places before he could lose his patience and drag Alban somewhere no one else can see what he would do to the phantom thief "uhm"
"But wait, why aren't you wearing a sports outfit, Sonny?"
The man shrugged "Didn't have time" or for a more accurate reason, he couldn't be bothered to actually look for one. Staring at Alban now though, he probably should have.
"Aww, I bet you'd look really cool in a blue tracksuit tho!"
"Albanyan! Sonny!" The pair looked around and saw their senpai Mahiro approaching. She had them on her channel a while back and was very vocal about buying their stuff too.
"Senpai!!" Alban greeted. They were on the same team for the event. Sonny suddenly felt a little jealous that she was going to spend the time close to Alban instead of him.
The grin on the girl's face widened a little as she turned to Alban "Albanyan, would you mind checking if Yugo's already with the others? We need you both to do the translating for the rest of the group tonight"
Alban's face flushed a bit at the notion of being an actual translator for such a big group "Oh, okay senpai, I'll be right back. Wait for me here, okay?" And with that he scurries off running.
Sonny's eyes were blessed with the way Alban's legs hugged the shorts perfectly, how his ass was immaculately showcased, his small waist prominent now that he wasn't wearing his loose clothing—
"He looks so cute doesn't he?" Mahiro's voice broke into his thoughts and Sonny turned to the girl beside him. "The gym clothes are such a plus too"
"Mahi-senpai?"
Mahiro placed a hand on Sonny's shoulder "Don't worry, Sonny" she says "I'll make sure to take a lot of photos of Alban for you"
"..."
They stared at each other.
"..."
"Please send them directly to my discord, senpai"
Soon enough the group was all gathered and their host started to give out instructions. Sonny and Alban went to their respective teams too and soon enough the games began.
For the most part, Sonny did try his best to keep his mind on the games, and perform to the best of his abilities so they wouldn't lose. The rest of the time, however…
"You are so lucky you aren't streaming your pov" Uki told him, sitting beside him once they were done with the current game "You're too obvious"
"What? What are you talking about Uki?"
The man rolled his eyes at him. "Please, it's too obvious you just want to get up and join Alban on the other side" he pointed out.
Sonny didn't even try to defend himself "Is it that obvious?"
Uki smirked at him "I'm pretty sure the kouhais from votactation and some of the senpais noticed it" he glanced at the other team too "Not that I blame you, I'd definitely tap that ass too myself—"
"Uki!" Sonny blurted out, ready to lunge at the man if he actually finished that sentence
"Calm down, Geez" the man flicked his forehead, causing Sonny to huff and recoil slightly
"That hurt, Uki~"
"Good" Uki crossed his arms "It's not like you won't be able to enjoy Albie in the gym clothes later. You do live together "
"I know, it's just that…'' he's being adorable where I can't see him up close but the senpais are able to see his cuteness upfront… "I hope the round ends soon"
Not to get him wrong, Sonny was actually enjoying himself plenty too, especially the PVP-ish games, and he was having fun talking to Suha and the boys from Voltaction too, along with Hada and their other senpais.
Luckily, they had games when both groups could interact with each other, and wasted no time in finding Alban amongst the crowd of people
"Sonny!" Alban bounced towards him happily. "Our team is winning" he grins
"Not for long, you're not" Sonny smiled back at him. Alban just laughed. "Just wait until it's my turn to do the task"
"We'll still win~"
A bead of sweat trickled down his cheeks and Sonny reached out to wipe it away. Good thing they were on the end of the obstacle course, and there weren't a lot of people to tease them again
"Oh, ah, Thanks Sonny~" there was a cute blush on the brunette's face and if they weren't in public and in the middle of a big collab, the blond would have already made some excuse to take him somewhere private—
"Don't tire yourself too much Alban…" he told him, "You're gonna need the stamina later~"
The deeper blush on Alban's face let him know the message was received properly and Sonny instantly felt better.
At least now he'll think of me too during the sports fest. It's only fair.
While there was an uproar over the last game from the players themselves, the sports festival soon drew to a close, with the white sweeping the scoreboard with their points. Everyone cheered, even the red team, for a spectacular collab success
"Ahh…we lost," Suha was saying, but there was a big smile on his face. He was standing next to Sonny as they waited for the hype to calm
"Yeah…we're still the winner in my heart" he added as Suha chuckled.
"I agree~" he stared at Sonny though "Sonny, did you see? Alban was wearing gym clothes today"
Sonny faked a cough. "Uh, yeah. I saw him before the program~"
The Korean smiled knowingly "I see" at that time, Suha thought he should keep to himself what he 'accidentally' checked out using his telescope. While he could say he was fairly close to Sonny, there was no saying what the man was capable of, especially when it comes to a certain heterochromatic orange cat.
"Sonny!!" Before Sonny could interrogate Suha, he heard Alban's voice calling him, so he quickly excused himself and went to his ototou
"Congrats, Alban~"
"Thank youuuu" the brunette says in his signature cute voice "You did so good too, and everyone else too!"
"And you were exceptionally cute, Albanyan!" Mahiro supplied from the side. The couple didn't even notice she was there at first.
"Nooo, Mahi-senpai don't say thaaat" Alban was exceptionally bad at being complimented. "Geez"
"What, I'm your senpai right? You don't believe me?"
"N-no! I-I mean…I do, I mean…"
The blue haired girl chuckled as she nudged Sonny "The goods have been delivered" she wiggles her eyebrows
"Thank you, Senpai" Sonny smirked back.
Luckily, Alban was too flustered to catch their whispered conversation "Help me out here, Sonny~"
"Sorry, Alban, I'm on senpai's side on that one"
"Gasp. You traitor"
The three of them burst out laughing.
"Anway, I'm beat. Take care when you go home you two. Let's play together again sometime!"
Alban smiled as they waved goodbye to their senpai. They started to go on their way home too
"By the way, Alban…"
"Hmnn?"
"Are you tired?"
"A bit? Not particularly…why?"
"It's your day off tomorrow, right?"
"Yup! Why?"
Sonny just smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I wonder…"
Alban blinked "Sonny?"
Sonny just chuckled. He'll have to remind him when they get home.
