It’s the best case scenario for a Twi’lek woman imaginable because it isn’t real,” she murmured. “I know that you don’t want to hear this but this is absolutely no different from any other day on Coruscant from me outside of the fact that I’m wearing a collar. You have to stop going on about how tragic it is. The only thing that matters is that we’re going home.”
“Fine, but I’m still going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you,” he grumbled before begrudgingly accepting—or was he giving it to her?—a kiss.
There was the feeling of a smile against his lips. “The rest of your life, huh?”
