“I cannot believe that you’re stealing my own girlfriend away from me this weekend,” Sam complained.
Miles snorted, “Jealous?”
“Watch it,” Sam warned. “I can kick you out of my car again.”
Miles just laughed, taking it for the joke it was. Usually Mikaela would be with them, since they were on their way home from school, but she had to stay behind for swim practice. That meant it was Miles riding next to Sam in Bumblebee’s passenger seat.
“We’re not doing anything fun,” Miles reassured him. “Just taking my little sister out for a girl’s day.
Sam grimaced, “They’re definitely going to make you do girly things.”
“Trust me, I—”
Miles sneezed. And then sneezed four more times.
“Shut the fuck up,” Sam rolled his eyes.
“Bless you,” Bumblebee said politely at the same time.
Shit. Sam glanced over at Miles and saw wide eyes and an open mouth. There was no way he could try and pass it off as a voice on the radio because Katy Perry was still singing about California gurls, and since he had told Miles to shut up it was obvious it wasn’t his own voice.
Two months. Two! That was as long as they were capable of keeping a secret, apparently. Captain Lennox was going to strangle Sam and scrap Bumblebee for parts, no matter that it was all Bumblebee’s fault.
“Oops?" Bumblebee offered.
"Uh…" Miles looked at Sam.
Sam put his head in his hands.
“Uh?!” Miles nearly shrieked, which was a short, panicked way of saying ‘Sam, what the fuck, grab the wheel again!’.
