Summary
Japan requires that omegas be mated within a month of graduating high school, before they can go on to university, get a job, or even before receiving their full Hero License.
It’s sexist, it’s degrading, and Katsuki fumes about it as he storms to Reformatory Class 3, clutching the item he promised Nedzu he’d deliver.
Hero life has become a bit more boring in Japan over the years. During Katsuki's three years in UA, he's only seen a handful of major villains. Nothing exciting ever really happens at this school, but he appreciates the way Japan is genuinely trying to help its people instead of simply treating all villains as evildoers without morals.
UA has Reformatory Classes now, separated into Level 1, 2, and 3, not Class as the name suggests, because their ages vary so much, but by Level, based off how close they are to reentering society—1 needing the most work, 3 being closest to freedom.
But apparently Japan’s ideals for helping doesn’t extend to omegas.
