After receiving debilitating injuries at the jaws of a pack of dogs, young Cobweb is taken into DarkClan and nursed back to health. With no family left, his mother dead long ago and his sister murdered by the dog pack, he elects to stay in the Clan and train under its medicine cat, Clearwhisker, to become his successor.
Soon enough, Cobweb, now dubbed Webpaw, receives a prophecy warning of a threat to the Clan within itself. As Webpaw works to prevent this prophecy from coming true, he fails to realize that he may in fact be bringing it to fruition.
Cobwebs was first started in October 2016 as a rewrite for a fic of the same name, both by myself. It has since spawned two direct sequels, forming a trilogy, as well as a few other works in progress.
The Cobwebs Trilogy is old, and so I cannot truthfully say the quality is all that great. However, I'd still like to post it here to AO3 for archival purposes and for anyone who may be interested.
So here is Cobwebs, the first book of a trilogy of the same name. Enjoy!
