   Summary

   Buffy wakes to a heavy body atop her in her bed and a feeling of fullness more intense than she’s ever experienced before.

   Blinking back sleep, she looks up into cold dark eyes and a cruel smirk, and three realizations hit her in rapid succession: First, the man mounting her is not the lover lost to her these past weeks, but the monster who now wears his form. Second, he’s not just inside her, he’s gone and knotted her. And thirdly, the overwhelming need consuming her body is clouding her thoughts, making it impossible to summon the appropriate amount of horror at either of those revelations.
