"YESSS!!! Suck it '000ArsenicAngel000', in your face!" I watched as my twin danced around yelling about his newly found win. It was expected, but still a big deal. I win at everything but I won't bring that up now... I'll let him have this.
April and Mikey had joined Donnie, jumping up and down shouting. After everyone calmed down, Donnie used April's address as a place of residents so he could actually receive his prize money. This was worth going out for and I think I still have a free pizza pass at Hueso's...
"Let's go out for your win, Don Tron." I stand up and unsheathe one of my swords before opening a huge blue portal, "Vamos mi amigos!"
"Pizza will suffice my triumph! Thank you, Nardo" Donnie, in one heel turn, fell through my portal as Mikey, Raph, and April followed. I step through shortly after them.
As the blue disappears from around me, the familiar smells and sights of Hueso's restaurant fill my senses. It looks like he had done a slight change of order here tho, and new staff. I've never even seen this place this full.
A wolf yokai approached before grabbing some menus and looking up to... April, "So, Wild card, is this all or are you expecting more?"
"Wild card?" April's face quickly changed from confusion to excitement, "Holy shit, Olivia? You're a mutant?"
"Yokai, I've always been but for the sake of having a good education, I use a cloaking device that makes me seem human."
"We've seen a few yokai choose to do that. This is all of our group by the way, we are here celebrating Otello Von Ryan's recent victory!" April hugged Donnie before he pulled away.
"Actually, my real name is Donatello Hamato but it may be left to the abbreviation of Donnie." He finished as Olivia started walking them to a table.
She places the menus down and turns to the group as they sit down, "You're waiter should be here in a minute and, lucky me, I don't have the privilege of serving you guys. Though, I'm pretty sure this is my bestie's table so that will be cool for you guys. See ya at school April, and keep the yokai thing secret." She walked off with her tail swaying behind her.
Would my tail do that if it was longer? And since when was this place busy like this? At least we were sat quickly. "Sorry April, you're just doomed to only know yokai and mutants." I give my signature smirk as they all laugh and start up conversations. A few minutes go by...
"I'm so sorry for the wait! I'll be your server, my name is Usagi and what can I get started to drink for everyone?" I barely turn my head before everything stops.
Another yokai had walked up to the table, and he was soooo handsome. He is a white rabbit, freckles littered his face and a scar ran through his eyebrow and another on the opposite cheek. I found myself at a loss for words as everyone ordered. Is it my turn? CAN I even say anything? "I- um... c-coke... please!" That was stupid. I'm stupid. Why did I stud-er like that?”
His gorgeous brown red eyes looked down at his notepad then back up to scan the group, "Okay, I'll have these out as soon as possible for you guys." As he turned away, his eyes landed on me.
He winked.
I only now realize how red my face must be. I bring my hands up to cover my face slightly as I watch him walk away...
"Hello, earth to Leo!" I turn to face Raphael's voice.
"And now he returns. Welcome home Nardo." Donnie mocked.
"Dude, you're literally drooling over our waiter." April laughs as she pulls out her phone and opens her camera.
I was actually drooling... really? My face was redder than I thought it would be. Shit... I lean closer to April and whisper in her ear, "C-could you ask if we can talk t-to Hueso- Senor Hueso. P-please?"
April turned to me before nodding her head. On cue, the rabbit returns. His arms are full of drinks as he places them all down on the table. Raph took the courdacy to pass them out to their owners. I couldn't take my eyes off him, or at least I thought. My eyes shot down the instant he turned my way.
"I've been told that you guys have 'a usual' so sorry. Is that what we will be having today?" his voice rang through my ears. I'm not even looking at him but I can feel his gaze landing on me.
"Two of the regulars and, um... can we see Senor Hueso?"April asked before Hueso appeared almost as if summoned.
"Ah, mi amigo. It's been too long, pepino." I can talk to him, just don't look to the side.
"Si, cabeza hueca. You haven't needed me for your brother issues, or some crazy secret pirate stuff, or..."
"Okay, I get it. Are you here because of the free pizza's I owe you?"
"You don't owe me anything,... but I would like to cash that in, yes."
"Usagi," Hueso turns to the rabbit beside him as he continues, "Their order is on the house so forget a ticket. You'll be giving your hand a break." Hueso turns again; he just walks off, Usagi following him.
"So you can talk? Just not to OUR WAITER?" Mikey raised an eyebrow as I felt my blush return.
I will just have to get back at them all later, "You guys are the worst, I just got us two free pizza's. And besides, he probably doesn't swing that way."
Donnie glared at me then smirked at Mikey, like that's not terrifying.
Moments later, the pizzas are brought out and Donnie starts whatever secret plan he had just agreed to with Mikey, "Oh, Lou Jitsu was really hot in ALL of the movies. You can't disagree with me Micheal."
I glanced up to Usagi, he seemed nervous but joined the conversation anyways, "I didn't know anyone else had watched those. *giggle* My grandfather made me watch them all. He was convinced it would make me a better swordsman than I already am, but it turned me gay instead." He had paused at that last part, or maybe my heart stopped.
Donnie quickly took notice and continued, "A gay swordsman, huh? I feel like we've met before." Everyone turned to me, causing Usagi to look at me again. Well shit...
"You guys are ass holes. Here I am taking you out to celebrate your victory."
Donnie and Mikey smirk at each other again before Mikey turns to Usagi, "So, would you happen to be single and looking for another swordsman?"
Usagi's calm expression seemed to crack as he pulled out a pen with one hand and hid behind the other. Was he... blushing?
I saw him scribble something on a napkin before crumbling it up and throwing it at me. I fumbled to catch it as he hurried off.
He was gone...
I look down at the napkin, scared to touch it but I finally un-crumble it.
Wow... I'm fucked.
