Summary
It had always been his dream to eventually return to Pelican Town after spending his summers there as a child, but when Mallory inherits his grandparents' old farm he is surprised by just how much the town— and more importantly the people in it— have changed. Alex had been his best friend once, but now he was seemingly too busy and too cool for his old friend. Mallory threw away the life he had been building in order to come back home, but nothing is as he remembered it to be. His heart aches for the fleeting happiness of his past, and to forge a new future for himself— with any luck, a future that includes Alex by his side.

Summary
On the eve of a new neighbor moving to town, Elliott finds himself discouraged and out of inspiration. Somewhere far away, a lonely man decides to make a fresh start in his life. Their stories are told through the records they write of their own experiences.
This is planned to be a longfic slowburn romance following a new game of Stardew from primarily Elliott's perspective, written in epistolary format through journals, letters, and other communications. Summary
In this large work, our farmer Kane Brookes finds himself with a new slower life in Pelican Town. He meets Alex, a young athlete who's taking care of his aging grandparents, and Elliott, a mysterious writer who lives on the edge of the town. Over the course of two years, he soon finds himself drawn to them. A very slow burn sees Kane and Alex in year 1, and a polyamorous setup in year 2 with Elliott.
