"Happy birthday!" Freya says with a smile.
Atreus smiles back at her. "Thank you!" He wraps his hand around Freya and hugs her.
Freya smiles and hugs him back.
"What did you get me?"
Freya chuckles and says, "You are going to have to wait."
"Or, you can go ahead and tell me now, Aunt Freya."
Freya hums at her 'nephew's' words. "No."
Atreus groans, causing them both to laugh.
"He's grown so much," Freya says as she lights a cigarette.
"He has," Kratos says from beside her.
The two of them were currently outside, watching Atreus and his girlfriend, Angrboda from the window.
"It feels like just yesterday I met you both," Freya says.
"And so much has changed over the past three years," Kratos says, looking at Freya. "You are part of our family now."
Freya smiles at her 'brother.' She looks back at Atreus as she takes another drag of her cigarette.
Four years ago, she had lost her son, and she felt hopeless and depressed.
And then Kratos and Atreus came along.
They became her family.
Family.
She loves her family.
