   Summary

   Gotham was strange. It pulsed with life, no matter what hour of the day. Even as the lights in the apartments flickered out, the streets opened their eyes with a new glow awash in blood. It was different from Amity. There, the ghosts at least had some understanding of the sanctity of life, even if they sometimes forgot that humans were much squishier than ghosts (or halfas). Most of the rogues in Gotham just didn’t care.
