Miko: Ishigami, I need you.
Ishigami: Wait… What do you mean by you…
Miko: Please become the vice president and stay by my side…!
Narrator: Yuu Ishigami has one problem.
In the last years, he would be working hard. But you could say that more than a grind, his hard work was a trot. He was indeed running. Running from the shadows of his past.
But that day of Fall, one of those shadows was looking back at him.
“I need you”
With Those words , Ishigami couldn’t help but think of a darker time when Miko Iino also needed him.
“Stay by my side”
And with those words, Ishigami couldn’t help but remember why he ran.
Miko (Monologue): I don’t understand…
What is this idiot doing?
Asking this question wasn’t easy at all.
But answering is easy. Just say Yes or No.
I’ve been looking for an answer for so long!?
Where is my answer?
Ishigami (Monologue): She ‘needs’ me?
Have things really gotten so bad in her life?
I thought she was doing well.
To have sunk to these depths again.
Did I miss something?
When she won the elections I thought it was the moment that signified that her life was different. She looked so magnificent and so ready. So ready to take off and leave the ones like me behind.
Miko (M): What the hell.
He 's blushing.
Does he actually like me?
But if so, why can’t he just say so!?
I’m looking for one word.
And he won’t do even that.
Narrator: From outside it seemed like time stood still, but on the inside, their minds were working at tremendous amounts of stress. Neither of them left the bed that day expecting it to become such a fateful day.. For once they were facing each other with their hearts exposed. But perhaps that can also leave the heart vulnerable for reopening old wounds.
Ishigami (M): She’s starting to look worried.
I should probably say something.
I .. can’t say anything
Miko (M): All those days I was so worried.
I lived in fear that I was chasing something one-sided.
That after Tsubame-senpai I wouldn’t be able to measure.
I felt bad for being a girl that brings down the mood everywhere she goes.
But that was a lie?
He’s still not saying anything.
Ishigami: …. I …. uh… didn’t expect this.
If you need help with the student council and can’t find anyone else…
I guess for now I can help you out. I’m used to student council stuff.
Narrator: Ishigami’s face would make anyone see right through him. It was an embarrassing spectacle.
Miko (M): So you are going to be like this.
Always taking the easy way out.
You haven’t changed a bit.
You are a fraud.
What you didn’t realize is I was making it easy for you. You only needed to say one word.
But if you want to play like this, then I’ll make it difficult.
Narrator: Yuu ishigami has two problems.
Miko: Okay, good to hear. Well, with you that makes two of us, I should probably look for more members.
Ishigami (M): Is it me or did the atmosphere change suddenly?
Narrator: Love is War!
If you thought you could escape then you were gravely mistaken.
There are people who don’t experience romantic love. But for the rest of us the possibility of a conflict like this is a very real one.
Everyone’s war is going to be different. But the flipside of this is that no matter how much experience you’ve had seeing other people’s wars, it doesn’t mean it will be helpful in yours. You might not even notice you’re already part of an armed conflict until it’s too late!
