Robin could feel the grey light of the morning before she actually saw it. She noticed a pressure on top of her, and when she opened her eyes, she smiled. God, she knows me so well. Nancy was splayed out on top of her, taking the place of Robin's blanket. As much as she needed to get ready for her shift, she didn't want to move.
Robin decided to stay there for a few minutes longer before waking Nancy up. "Baby, I need to get ready for work," Robin whispered. Nancy grumbled and wrapped her arms and legs around Robin. Robin let out an amused sigh before gently prying Nancy off of her. Before Robin could get up, Nancy wrapped her arms around Robin's arm, another attempt at keeping her girlfriend with her.
"I know baby, I know. We can cuddle when I get home?" Robin offered. Seeming content with that answer, Nancy slowly freed her girlfriend. They both sat up and gave each other a side hug before getting up. Robin made the bed as Nancy went to go make them some coffee.

Robin stumbled out of her room into their kitchen, finding Nancy leaning against the counter while drinking her coffee. She gestured with her eyes toward Robin's cup. Robin smiled and mouthed a thank you before rushing over to give Nancy a kiss. After fumbling around for her keys, she left the small house with a wave at Nancy.
