Nancy groaned as she had to pause in even more heavy traffic. She gripped the wheel in frustration. Fuck it. She maneuvered out of the spot she was in and decided to take another way that she was certain would have almost no one on it. When she finally got onto the road, she couldn't help but steal a glance at Robin. To her pleasant surprise, Robin was looking back at her. However, Robin didn't shy away. Instead, she smiled.
Nancy could feel her heart begin to speed up. She smiled back before looking back at the road. A few minutes later, she took another look at Robin, who was slightly leaning her head out of her window. Her hair was flowing in all sorts of directions, but she still managed to look absolutely stunning. The light coming and going from street lamps as the car passed them made her look illuminated. Robin was leaning her head back, her eyes closed and a content smile on her face. As they stopped at a red light, Nancy couldn't help herself when she leaned over and kissed Robin's cheek. Robin immediately looked at Nancy, dumbfounded and blushing. Nancy laughed at this and started driving once more.
"May I ask why?" Robin asked with faux annoyance.
"You're too cute for your own good."
