Warm, soft, cozy, safe, those were what the Boss’ arms felt like as Mono gently wrapped the guard, Greeney, up in his cozy warm embrace, head resting against his chest with the Boss’ chin resting on his head. Greeney tensed up under the grip for a few seconds as he felt the arms of New Dream’s leader wrap around him, but soon relaxed as he felt Mono rub his back and shush him gently, letting him know it was okay to feel scared and not to hold back his feelings. The guard sighed softly as he felt himself relax and melt into the warmth his boss was emitting, arms wrapping around the teenager’s neck to pull him closer to him.
Mono glanced down at the boy now snuggled nicely in his arms, a smile forming on his face that said he was relieved that he was able to calm down his friend after his horrible nightmare much like how he did with Netty. Truthfully, Mono didn’t fully know Greeney’s backstory, only bits and pieces from him but Mono never pushed the boy to give out information that he was clearly uncomfortable giving. Instead, Mono comforted Greeney and made him feel better till he felt comfortable enough to sleep which the guard was starting to become.
Below him, Greeney’s green eyes slowly shut and his breathing slowed till the boy’s body relaxed and he fell asleep. Mono smiled down at Greeney’s sleeping form as he soothingly rubbed the sleeping guard’s back, gently pulling him away from his chest then tucking him in his bed, allowing him to get some well-earned rest.
