Chapter Text

                                                                       Here Comes Santa Claus

"Hey, is someone there?"

The classroom seemed empty, yet two voices were discussing discreetly. Jimin finally poked his head around, then he looked at the corner of the classroom where there was a small bench and some books.

Taehyung was there, but he wasn't alone despite the late hour. He was sitting on the bench and taking measurements of the figure in front of him, dressed in a large red cloth.

The silhouette was a little taller than Jimin. The man had nice square shoulders and above all, buttocks to die for.

Then the young man approached timidly, marking each of his steps to move noiselessly like a predator.

But Taehyung tilted his head and saw him walking towards them, knowing his best friend too well.

"Jimin.." Taehyung sighed, "I told you I'll be back later. I still have work to do and.."

"Maybe I can help you? What are you doing?" Jimin asked, flashing a cute smile and squinting his eyes adorably.

Taehyung wanted to lie, maybe even ignore his request hoping he would be forgotten. His soul mate, as he liked to call him, could be sweet, funny, but also extremely clingy.

For a few seconds, Jimin was silent, biting the corner of his lip playfully and the strong urge to get a little closer to them.

"Won't you introduce me?" He asked, taking a step forward then shivering in place under Taehyung's dark gaze.

Taehyung's pretty almond eyes didn't last long. He smiled at him then continued to take the measurements on the man's body.

He knew his best friend perfectly. He knew him to be as stubborn as he was endearing. Jimin was... how to say, a real charmer. To tell the truth, the teacher has never seen anyone resist him.

He had this way of talking and making his pretty hazel eyes shine disconcertingly when flirting with certain dads. But no man had ever had the chance to win his heart.

The young man had a free and fleeting spirit, like a butterfly pollinating flowers.

"Don't even think about it"

Jimin choked back a laugh as his friend's facial expression was so cute and predictable.

"What! I didn't do anything, I just arrived"

"You know what I mean.."

"I don't see..No"

Jimin placed his arms on his chest and pretended to sulk, deceptively innocent, keeping a smirk on his face.

Again, he wanted to move forward, trying to see the face of the man who was standing with his back to him, who was quietly waiting for Taehyung to continue.

"Don't approach. I'll be finished in fifteen minutes, I'll meet you at the school entrance"

Finally, he didn't insist and he walked to the classroom door. Jimin told himself that he only lost a battle, not the war.

He didn't give up knowing the man who was with Taehyung. It was again a kind of game for him and he was eager to participate.

On the small cabinet where the children's drawings were, Jimin saw the cardboard invitation for the Christmas pageant. Taehyung had quickly told him about it and he himself had refused to dress up as Santa Claus.

That explained the red fabric and the time he spent after class was over, getting costumes and sets ready.

"So, you finally found your Santa Claus" Jimin said, taking one last

"Seriously,..Who would want to do that?"

The teacher sighed and shook his head, looking embarrassed at the man in front of him. This one was in fact a dad, whose little girl was in Taehyung's class.

The dad had not hesitated to accept when he asked him. He was a single dad, who had rebuilt his life and moved here to Seoul, after separating from his mother.

When he heard about the Christmas show, the father was moved by the idea of being able to make the children happy, especially his daughter.

"It's for a good cause" he said in a deep voice as Taehyung wanted to stop him from intervening.

Please…Mr Jeon , whispered Taehyung, holding back the figure that wanted to turn.

"Please don't move, there won't be much longer."

The voice of the stranger provoked in Jimin an implacable curiosity and the excitement of wanting to talk more with him.

"Do you find that nice?" he asked, hoping to hear his pretty voice again.

There was a short silence where Jimin could feel his heart racing for an answer. Taehyung's angry look hardly impressed him, though he took a step back at the same time.

Suddenly the voice started talking again and a small smile appeared on Jimin's mouth.

"I like the idea that they can be amazed," the man said calmly.

Jimin shuddered, focusing his gaze only on the man before answering him.

"They will be disappointed one day or another to know that he doesn't exist"

"Jimin. Enough, please" cut Taehyung, frowning when he said it.

The young man pursed his lips at his best friend's words. The teacher wasn't angry or even upset after all. Just really, really pissed off.

So Jimin winked at him, looking mischievous and still cute.

"I just wonder who I'm dealing with," he said innocently.

"Nobody"                                          "Jungkook"

Answered the teacher and the dad together.

"For God's sake…" Taehyung breathed. "Forgive him, he is..He is"

"I'm delighted! I'm Jimin, Taehyung's best friend" he finished Taehyung's sentence with great enthusiasm.

"Ex-best friend…" Added the teacher.

"Ex ?"

Taehyung just nodded then seemed to move on. Over time, he had acquired the ability to ignore his adorable, but stubborn roommate.

"Okay…I just need to adjust the hood to make sure we don't see your hair. I also need to shorten your pants, but it will be easy"

"I'll wait for you..There" said Jimin, a smirk on his lips, pointing to the school hallway.

The young man liked to provoke his roommate. He had forbidden him to pick him up for a month and had finally decided to stop what seemed to him to be a punishment.

It's not like he didn't deserve it, he knew that.

His last conquest had been none other than a representative of parents.. It hadn't created a scandal, but it hadn't reappeared for the organization of the Halloween party at school, causing the cancellation of some specially prepared games.

When finally someone arrived, he straightened his body from the wall where he was leaning and approached a few steps towards the classroom door, thinking it was Taehyung. But Jimin came face to face with the cute dad and he completely lost his way.

Their shoulders touched and Jungkook put a hand on his waist to prevent Jimin from losing his balance backwards with the impact of his body.

"I'm sorry, excuse me" the lovely dad said immediately. "Are you okay ?"

The young man raised his face and looked at the dad, the time for him to understand what had just happened.

He was close enough to smell the scent of flowers, sweet and bewitching at the same time. He was indeed a little taller than him and his hand on him was firm, but considerate.

Jungkook spoke to him again, but Jimin didn't react, too focused on the thin, pink lips in front of him, and the tiny mole that seemed like a target to hit.

And though a few black wisps fell over his eyes, Jimin could see the dark color of his eyes and their adorable crescent shape.

Shit , he was the cutest dad he had ever seen.

"I'm fine, yeah. Fine" he said, surprised by this physical and unexpected encounter.

The hand slipped away from him and Jimin regretted not faking discomfort so that he caught him in his arms.

"Sorry again. I have to go. Have a nice evening"

"Yes, thank you. See you soon" replied Jimin, absorbed by the pretty figure of Jungkook who was leaving at a quick pace.

"Wow god, this one really is..Hot" he said between his lips, eventually running a hand through his hair, not realizing he was speaking out loud .

Unexpectedly, his roommate's head popped in front of him, immediately cutting into his imagination and bringing him harshly back to reality.

The young teacher was finally there, holding his things under his arm, looking adorable, but angry.

"Stay away from my Santa Claus. Under. No. Pretext. "

Jimin's first reaction was to laugh, then purse his luscious lips, remembering the last time Taehyung was like this. He was warned again and it was no good.

"No problem" he answered, confident and wanting to be reassuring.
