One minute Izuku was taking a lap around Ground Beta and then the ground was shaking and a huge crack appeared in it.
The crack had an eerie red glow to it, and it was just his luck that he managed to fall into it.
When he woke there were voices talking in hushed whispers above him as he lay on the hard ground
“Okay is anyone else kinda freaked out right now?!”
“Not really, I mean she’s done worse-OW!”
“We’re supposed to be encouraging her!”
“Oh my bad, El, you’re doing great!”,
“Could you be any more demeaning?”
Izuku moaned softly and reached up to shield his eyes from the sun, as the voices around him started to argue loudly
“Um, I think he is waking up”
Izuku opened his eyes to find five pairs staring back at him
“Uh, hi?”
When Izuku finally got his bearings, the group explained to him what happened.
The girl, El, was apparently trying to get a better hold on her regained powers and didn’t realize that she could open portals into other universes
Izuku could sympathize with her, he knew all about newfound powers and not knowing how to control them,
Even though he wished he could stay and ask her all about her powers and what it was like to live in a world without quirks, he was more concerned about how he could get back to his universe
Since she had never done anything like this before, El and her friends were hesitant to let him wander back through another portal that might not even open in his universe, not to mention how weak the girl was afterward.
So he was stuck in this universe until El regained her strength and could figure out how to find his universe
El and her friends had assured him, that they would have him back in his own universe in no time, but he knew that they were just trying to comfort him, they had no idea when he would return
Izuku just hoped no one would be too worried about him.
