Dream Vampire

Summary:

“Vampires” Kuro said with an incredulous face at the Leader of Akatsuki.

“Yes, Kiryu. Vampires” Keito confirmed.

“The theme is Vampires” Kuro repeated.

“As you well know, I did not choose the theme, nor I could have protested as it was selected randomly using an app” Keito proclaimed.

“I’m not really blaming you Danna, I just want to confirm that the theme for our Dream Fest against UNDEAD is Vampires.” Kuro said. Keito sighed out loud.

~~~
Just my excuse to have Eichi being thristy over Keito in his Vampire outfit (like we all do), as well as, realizing that his feelings for Keito may go beyond friendship…
Work Text:
“Vampires” Kuro said with an incredulous face at the Leader of Akatsuki.
“Yes, Kiryu. Vampires” Keito confirmed.
“The theme is Vampires” Kuro repeated.
“As you well know, I did not choose the theme, nor I could have protested as it was selected randomly using an app” Keito proclaimed.
“I’m not really blaming you Danna, I just want to confirm that the theme for our Dream Fest against UNDEAD is Vampires.” Kuro said. Keito sighed out loud.
“Surely they must have used some type of forbidden magic or trick Hasumi-dono! They might have even cursed us! We need to invalidate the result!” Souma exclaimed.
“Don’t be absurd Kanzaki! The truth is that Sakuma seemed surprised when the theme was revealed, I do not believe he was expecting it to go so accordingly to their… aesthetic. So there was no devious maneuver. But, it is true that the situation doesn’t… quite benefit us” Keito said.
Kuro snorted. “That’s an understatement. We are in clear disadvantage here”
Keito frowned at his unit mates. “Akatsuki it’s not going to admit defeat before even trying”
Kuro and Souma glared at their unit leader. “You’re right Hasumi-dono, I deeply apologize for my attitude” Souma bowed.
“Yeah, okay Danna, you’re right…” Kuro agreed. Keito smiled gently at his friends. “But we are a little bit unprepared for this battle, don’t you think?” The Karate club captain asked.
Keito glaced at his friend with a little bit of confusion. “What do you mean?”
Kuro crossed his arms on his chest. “What do you know about Vampires?”
“There are many tales and myths about Vampires, of course, but I would say that the most typical traits about them would be that they have fangs which they use to drink human blood, they are also immortal and they get affected by sunlight and garlic sometimes. What more do we need to know?” Keito questioned.
“Well for starters, what do they wear? If I have to make the costumes, I need to know what type of clothes we’ll be wearing.” Kuro responded.
“Don’t they wear like black clothes and a cape?” Souma intervened.
“But then we will look very ordinary, like we bought the costumes in a Halloween store. Is that what you want Danna?” Kuro asked.
“No, of course not. You’re right we need to research about it. The costumes can be a good chance to get an advantage from UNDEAD. People are used to seeing them wearing clothes like that, but not us. It could attract the audience’s attention and we need to surprise them in a positive way” Keito stated.
“Same with the song” Kuro added. Keito furrowed his eyebrows at his unit mate. “I mean, at least you want us to recreate some Japanese Vampire myth, I don’t think our usual music style works that well with the theme” The Karate fighter claimed.
“Maybe we should ask someone for help…” Souma murmured. Keito and Kuro turned to face at their younger companion. Souma gulped. “O-or not! We can think about it ourselves! Akatsuki It’s strong! We don’t depend on others!”
“No, Kanzaki, it’s fine. It’s not bad to ask for advice when one it’s out of their confront zone” Keito calmed his friend. “But the thing is who we could ask for help”
“Yeah, I mean if we weren’t going against them, I would say we ask Sakuma for advice. But that’s obviously not an option.” Kuro said.
“I would ask Adonis-dono too. But as you said, in this situation it is not possible” Souma added. “Doesn’t Sakuma-dono have a younger brother? And I believe I heard that they don’t get a long that well. Maybe he would be willing to help us”
“Yes, he does. And you’re right, he would probably aid us to spite his brother, but it feels a little bit like cheating to use Sakuma’s brother like that. I’d rather not use that option” Keito claimed.
Souma nodded. “Then who?” Kuro questioned.
Keito adjusted his glasses and he tried to come up with someone who could help them and made no fuss or scandal about it.
“Well…” Souma whispered. Keito and Kuro glared at him. “There is another idol unit who has been receiving external help and they have grown exponentially in a short period of time, I believe one of the reasons why would be this person who takes care of them” Souma offered.
Keito and Kuro glanced at the other with confused faces before turning to Souma again. “Well? Who is this guy?”
“It’s not a guy…” Souma murmured.
Keito’s eyes widened. Kuro grinned widely. “Of course! Jou-chan! That’s a great idea Kanzaki! She is very hard working, I’m sure she could help us” The Karate fighter patted his friend happily on the back.
“Anzu… it’s not a bad option at all Kanzaki, as Kiryu said she is very dependable and she might know something about Vampires. Aren’t teenage girls nowadays into that? But even if not, as a producer it’s her job to be prepared and research into the events she promotes, as well as, the groups she works with.” Keito patted Kanzaki on the head to congratulate him for his idea. “And you’re right, she has been helping Trickstar and they have become one of the strongest units at the moment. But, will she be willing to help us? Isn’t she working exclusively for them?”
“She has worked on events with other units like RYUSETAI, Ra*bits and 2Wink, so I believe she won’t mind. Anzu-dono is always very kind in class.” Souma offered.
“What do you think Hasumi? Do we go to see Jou-chan?” Kuro questioned.
Keito hesitated for a moment. His two unit mates looked excited at the idea of working with the producer and if it did give them the chance to win against UNDEAD, he, as Akatsuki’s leader, had to take it. “All right. Let’s go find Anzu” He declared. Souma and Kuro smiled.
The three Akatsuki idol’s searched for the producer around the school. They finally found her in a classroom, almost covered with books and prints.
“Anzu-dono!” Souma called.
“Ah, Souma-kun! Hello! Oh, Kiryu-senpai too and… Hasumi-senpai” Anzu greeted the idols.
“I can see you’re less enthusiastic to see me. You are not still afraid of me, are you? I don’t always lecture you when I see you” Keito frowned.
Anzu shook his head. “No, no! I’m just surprised. Were you looking for me?”
“Yes! Anzu-dono, we need to hire your services!” Souma exclaimed. Anzu glared at her classmate with bewilderment.
“Wait up, Kanzaki, don’t say it like that it sounds weird” Keito scolded. Souma bowed apologizing to the transfer student.
“Jou-chan, are you very busy with the producer course?” Kuro questioned.
The girl looked at the Karate fighter. “Umm a little bit, but I’m really enjoying it!”
“We wanted to ask you if you could help us with something, we have a Dream Fest in two weeks and we thought you could give us advice on how to better approach it” Kuro explained.
Anzu blinked confused. “Wait… that means that— Akatsuki…” The transfer student looked at the green haired idol.
Keito smiled gently. “That’s right. We were wondering if you could be Akatsuki’s producer for a couple of weeks”
Anzu blinked again staring at the three idols. When the information finally settled in her head she screamed. “Ehhhhhhhhh!!!”
~~~~~ Two weeks later ~~~~~

“Oh. What a surprise, what are you Trickstars doing here?” Eichi, followed by the rest of his unit members, asked joining the second year idols.

“Eichi-senpai! We came to see Akatsuki” Subaru smiled brightly at the blonde idol.

“Oh? You are supporting Akatsuki in today’s Dream Fest? That’s surprising, I would have thought you would want Sakuma-san’s unit to win” Eichi said.

Hokuto nodded. “I suppose under another circumstances we would have, but—”

“We are cheering on Anzu, she is part of Trickstar after all!” Subaru interjected.

“Anzu-chan? What does she have to do with anything?” Eichi asked confused.

“You don’t know Kaichou?” Mao asked a little bit surprised. The blond idol turned to look at the student council’s treasurer.

“But aren’t you and Hasumin-senpai childhood friends?” Subaru asked to the leader of Fine.

“Yes we are…” Eichi felt lost in the conversation.

“What do you know about today’s Dream Fest?” Hokuto asked the blonde.

“It’s a competition between Akatsuki and UNDEAD. It’s true that Keito has been very secretive about the whole ordeal. Wataru told me that the selected theme was Vampires” Eichi moved his head to look at his unit member and Wataru smiled brightly at him. “I thought he might have been overwhelmed because the theme suits UNDEAD much more. So, I didn’t want to pressure Keito” Eichi admitted.

“Maybe it was supposed to be a secret. I mean we only know because of Anzu…” Makoto murmured.

“What does Anzu have to do with anything!” Tori complained as he felt lost in the conversation as well.

“Did Anzu-san… aid Akatsuki with their performance, perhaps?” Yuzuru asked. The four Trickstar idols looked at the Butler.

“I believe you might be right Yuzuru! I did see Hokuto-kun and Anzu-san sneaking into the dressing room where we keep the costumes in the drama club a few days ago~…” Wataru laughed.

Hokuto blushed. “D-don’t say it l-like that! She wanted to see some of the costumes! So I helped her into the room! But don’t make it sound so i-improper!”

Eichi turned his head to glare at the second year idols. “Is that true?” He asked as Wataru exclaimed one of his characteristic’s ‘Amazing✩’

“Well… yes… I mean that’s what Anzu—” Mao got interrupted by the noise of Akatsuki’s dressing room opening.

Both Kuro and Souma stepped into the hallway, both dressed with their Vampire costumes. The costume was inspired in Dracula as an European noble man, it had a bordeaux coat working as a cape and a white shirt with frills. A dark green vest with touches of gold and dark colored pants with big golden bottoms. They were also wearing jewelry and little fangs which gave the final touch to the Vampire look. The costumes were elegant and flamboyant. It was very different from Akatsuki’s usual style. Kuro had definitely worked hard on them and they looked marvelous.

“Kazi-san! You’re looking amazing!” Subaru exclaimed.

“Thank you very much Akehoshi-dono. It feels different, but Kiryu-dono did an excellent job” Souma smiled.

“It does look very nice. Congratulations Kiryu-senpai” Makoto said to his senior.

“I just followed the designs Jou-chan brought me. She is the one with most merit here” Kuro alleged.

The two members of Akatasuki conversed happily with the Trickstar idols and Wataru and Yuzuru also joined the conversation. Eichi on the other hand was glaring at the Akatsuki members silently, trying to imagine how the costume would look on his childhood friend. Said childhood friend who was nowhere to be seen. “Where is Keito?” Eichi asked and the other idols turned to look at him.

“Ah… you see Danna…” Kuro said but then the dressing room door opened again.

“Come on! Hasumi-senpai! You’re looking very handsome, you have nothing to worry about!” Anzu stepped out of the room pulling from an arm which had to be Keito’s.

The arm pulled back with force and Anzu yelped as she was dragged inside the room again. “Just give me a moment! I-I… need—” Keito’s hushed protests were heard.

“Danna! Come on! We need to get to the stage, you are our leader, act like it” Kuro shouted.

“W-Wait! Oi! You’re much stronger than you look! You’re a petit girl, where did you get this strength from—” Keito was literally pushed out of the dressing room.

He was wearing the same outfit as his unit members. His hair was gelled which made him look more refined but the shocking thing was that he was not wearing his beloved glasses. His yellow-green eyes shone bright without the glass that usually covered them. Eichi froze. He had seen his childhood friend many times without his glasses before, but for some reason he was looking incredible attractive at that moment, it made Eichi’s heart beat fast.

“Fukukaichou! Where are your glasses!” Tori questioned.

Keito sighed. “Apparently they don’t go with the outfit”. The green haired teen glanced at Anzu who smiled brightly and with faux innocence. “Vampires are dead, they do not need to use glasses, because they don’t have any eyesight problems”

“Are you wearing contacts?” Subaru asked.

Keito glared at him with an offended expression. “I would never betray my glasses like that”. The rest of the idols sighed and chuckled amused at the comment.

“But… Can fukukaichou see without his glasses?” Mao asked confused.

“I’m not blind. I just see things blurry” Keito answered.

“Oh! So you can’t really see us, you don’t know who we are!” Subaru said getting closer to the green haired idol’s face.

“I’m neither deaf Akehoshi, I can recognize your annoying voice and your bright orange hair” Keito pinched the Trickstar idol on the cheek as the rest of the idols laughed at the exchange.

“Can you perform like this?” Hokuto asked.

“He doesn’t really need them to dance, he knows the choreography and as he said he can recognize forms so he is fine” Kuro answered.

“Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. This way I can’t see the audience making weird faces at us” Keito joked.

“Shut up Danna!” Kuro patted Keito hard on the back making everyone laugh.

Eichi had been observing the scene, or more precisely, he had been observing Keito. He really did look handsome tonight. How had he never realized before how pretty Keito’s green eyes were? He wasn’t very muscular like Kiryu but his chest was defined and his arms fit, probably due to his kyūdō training.  Suddenly, the blonde idol felt a finger on his jaw. “Be careful your Majesty, if you keep opening your mouth flies are going to get inside~” Wataru whispered in Eichi’s ear as he closed the Tenshouin’s mouth with his finger.

Eichi felt his cheeks get warm. “I don’t know what you’re taking about”

“Oh really? Because it looked like you were thoroughly ogling at our dear Keito-kun” Wataru smirked mischievously at his unit’s leader.

“You are mistaken” Eichi said with a voice that didn’t sound as convincing as he had tried to.

Wataru hummed out loud in a teasing tone. He faced the rest of the idols. “I should have not expected anything less from my fated rival! You’re looking incredibly sexy tonight, don’t you think Eichi?” The blond sent an alarmed and murderous glare at his unit mate who only grinned more.

“H-Hibiki… d-don’t talk nonsense” Keito covered his face to try and hide his blushing cheeks. “D-Don’t say anything Eichi, I do not  want to be teased by you right n-now”

“I-I wouldn’t” Eichi said. Everyone stared at him with unbeilable faces. “Oh. I seem to have a bad reputation”

“You’re just realizing that now?” Keito said with a faint smile. Eichi scoffed out loud.

A round of applause erupted in the building. UNDEAD who were performing in first place took the stage.

“We should go watch their performance” Keito suggested. Kuro and Souma nodded.

“Break a leg!” Makoto smiled.

“We’ll be rooting for you” Subaru added.

“You can do it!” Anzu cheered.

The Akatsuki idols smiled sweetly at the producer. “Thank you for everything Jou-chan” “We owe you a lot Anzu-dono!”. Keito patted the girl’s head gently. It reminded Eichi of when his childhood friend did the same to him when they were kids.

Akatsuki took their place backstage while the rest of the idols joined the audience. As expected UNDEAD’s performance suited perfectly the theme of the Dream Fest. They were spectacular. Eichi was worried, even if Akatsuki did have a good attire that would not be enough to beat Rei’s unit.

The auditorium became dark. A new scenery was set and Akatsuki took the stage. Eichi could heard whispers and murmurs from the fans, they looked excited. The music began playing, the song different from what Akatsuki usually performed but they still kept their essence. The three idols moved in sync with the melody and without missing a single note. But the blond idol couldn’t keep his eyes off Keito. Maybe by making Keito follow him into the idol world he did the fans a favor, Keito was incredibly talented and his voice was captivating. The three members of Akatsuki looked alluring and fanciable.

The performance ended and the audience became mad, applauding non stop. Akatsuki had managed to daze and enthrall their fans. Eichi saw some girls screaming Keito’s name surely having been surprised by his looks as the blond had.

After the voting, Nazuna Nito came to the stage to declare the winner. “It has been hard-fought but the unit that received more votes from the audience, the winner of this Dream Fest is… AKATSUKI!”

The auditorium roared. Eichi smiled happily, their effort had been rewarded. The blond saw that on the stage Souma and Kuro were grinning widely and excitedly, Keito acted more composed but he was smiling happily too. Eichi knew that he was truly overjoyed inside. The three member unit also applauded towards Anzu, Subaru began whistling to her. The producer blushed but smiled gleefully too.

Rei moved to shake Keito’s hand, Eichi saw them exchanged some words. Rei put his arm on Keito, whispering something into the green haired’s ear with a mischievous smile. He was getting way too close to Eichi’s liking. Keito smiled softly and responded something which made Rei laugh out loud. Eichi furrowed his eyebrows looking at the scene.

“Jealous?” Wataru whispered in a hushed voice.

Eichi sent an unimpressed glare to his unit mate. “Of what?”

“Their camaraderie? They seem to be mending their broken relationship little by little~”

“That’s not my business” Eichi said in a harsh tone.

“Fufu. Well, I’m sorry, it was just a mere observation. But you have nothing to worry about Eichi, Keito-kun will always choose you above everyone else” The Magician winked at the blond.

The audience clapped loudly again to both units which where bowing and waving together. Then UNDEAD and Akatsuki abandoned the stage.

“Let’s go and meet them to congratulate them all!” Subaru said excited.

The orange haired boy ran backstage chased by his unit mates. Eichi and the rest of Fine also walked following the second year idols.

When Eichi got behind the curtain, he saw Subaru and Hokuto talking animately with Rei who was smiling gently. Kaoru was softly holding Anzu’s hand and weeping, probably acting hurt because the producer helped Akatsuki and not them. Souma was ready to use his Katana on the blond flirt, only being stopped by Kuro who laughed entertained. And Makoto was trying to calm Kouga down as he was obviously angry that they lost.

Wataru moved quickly to Rei’s side and the Vampire idol smiled widely to his friend. Yuzuru and Tori also went to the group, joining Mao. Eichi stood in a little distance searching for his childhood friend. Keito was nowhere to be seen. ‘He must be in dressing room’. Eichi thought.

Tenshouin walked to Akatsuki’s changing room, entering without knocking.

“Finally, Kanzaki, did you find Anzu—” Keito was still dressed in his Vampire costume. He turned and furrowed his eyebrows at the blond. “You.. Eichi? What are you doing here— Haven’t you heard about knocking? I could have been changing!”

“Ma, Keito, it’s fine. We have bathed together, fufu”

“I-Idiot! Don’t say things like t-that! We were eight, it’s totally different!” Keito muttered embarrassed.

Eichi giggled. “Why are you hiding here? Don’t tell me that you are actually turning into a real Vampire and you’re afraid that you’re going to began sucking everyone’s blood. Should I be afraid?” The blonde idol moved closer to his childhood friend with a teasing smile.

“What ridiculous nonsense you’re babbling about!”

Eichi chucked. “What? It’s my blood not good enough for Mr Vampire? I suppose it wouldn’t be very tasty due to my poor health. You would probably kill me too, if you took a little bit too much. I would die in your arms. How peace-full”

“Please don’t say things like that…” Keito reprimanded the blonde.

“Fufu. All jokes aside, congratulations on winning, you were incredible”

Keito sighed with a little smile. “Thank you Eichi”

“The audience went wild when they saw you appear. Ma, I suppose it’s normal, you looked fabulous, I bet every fan wanted to be bitten by one of you, fufu. Some girls next to me were commenting how seductive you looked in your outfit, Keito...” It was actually Eichi the one who had those thoughts, but he wasn’t brave enough to voice them. Moreover, he loved to see his childhood friend blushing furiously.

“S-Shut up you bastard!” Keito said embarrassed. “I-I’m grateful that the fans enjoyed the performance and that we won. But if I’m being honest, I can’t wait to get out of this costume, the cape it’s very heavy and I can’t take it off” He moved his arm backwards touching his back under the cape to try and detach it. “And I can’t see well without my glasses, I sent Kanzaki and Kiryu to get them from Anzu, but they are taking forever!”

“Oh, well, I can help you with the cape in the meantime” Eichi moved closer to the Akatsuki idol. “Is there some kind of hidden mechanism to attach it?”

“Yes, so it wouldn’t fall off during the performance. It’s right there but I can’t reach it..” Keito moved his arm but he wasn’t flexible enough to properly grab it from that position.

“Oh, let me” Eichi pressed himself against Keito, their chests touching. He moved his hand and traced Keito’s back to search for the lock.

Keito froze. He held his breath in shock of having Eichi invade his personal space so suddenly. The feeling of Eichi’s hands caressing his back sent shivers to his body. His friend’s scent was soft and floral, it made him want to bury himself in the Fine idol’s collar to smell it. Keito tried to stop those thoughts from his mind while attempting to control his beating heart, which was out of control. Eichi, on the other hand, seemed to be unaffected by their proximity.

“I think.. I can touch it— hold down…” Eichi muttered, searching for the mechanism with his fingers.

Eichi stood in his tiptoes, his chin resting on Keito’s shoulder. Locks of blond hair brushed against the Akatsuki idol’s neck, tickling him.

“Eichi” Keito called in a soft voice, almost a whisper.

The Fine idol swung backwards to look at his childhood friend. He met a pair of shining yellow-green eyes. “Yes..?” Eichi said in a hushed voice as well, while he stared at Keito’s features.

Keito was attractive. There was no denying. His usual attitude and attire made him appear to be a simple nerd, but behind all that he was incredibly handsome. He was manly but at the same time he was sweet and elegant. And a dork, but in an endearing way.

Eichi examined Keito. It had been long since he has payed close attention to his friend. His eyes, his nose, his ears and cheek which were coloring in a light shade of red. And his mouth, was slightly parted, his lips rosy and soft. Why have I never kissed Keito? Not even when we were kids? Maybe I could…

“Eichi” Keito’s voice broke the Fine idol from his trail of thoughts. “W-What are you looking at?”. The green haired hated that without his glasses he couldn’t appreciate Eichi’s expressions.

“Your mouth— I-I mean! Your fangs! You’re still wearing your vampire fangs” Eichi lied.

“Ah yes. I can’t wait to take off the whole costume, really” Keito responded. And it shouldn’t have sounded so sexy on Eichi’s mind. “No luck with the cape?”

“Ah.. no…” Eichi moved closer again, almost pressing their chests together. Keito smelled nice. A new cologne, but his familiar scent of incense was still there.

Keito breathed out. Eichi’s eyes watched with fascination how the green haired idol trailed his lower lip his tongue to hydrate the skin. His hand moved unwittingly, reaching to touch the fang. His finger brushing Keito’s lips, but the green haired didn’t move away, instead, Keito’s hand rested on the blond’s hip as of inviting him to come closer.

Eichi lifted his eyes and found Keito’s. His pupils were dark, showing an intense feeling that made the Fine idol’s body shiver with excitement and nervousness. Eichi didn’t notice that they have moved they faces closer until their noses bumped into each other. Keito exhaled and his warm breath collided against Eichi’s mouth. They were going to kiss and Eichi had never been more thrilled. He wanted it, he wanted it bad.

Eichi’s hand moved from the lips to caress Keito’s cheek lovingly, Keito responded by tilting his head to have better access. The blond’s heart was racing in his chest, absolutely out of control, and Keito’s agitated breath also indicated that he was impassioned. Their lips were about to touch, Eichi could almost feel them on him—”

“Hasumi-dono! We brought your glasses!” Souma shouted as he entered the room accompanied by Kuro.

Keito and Eichi separated abruptly from each other. The intimate moment completely ruined. Eichi saw Kuro’s eyes widen in shock as he glared between the pair.

“What were you doing?” Souma obliviously asked tilting his head.

“N-Nothing!” Eichi and Keito both responded at the same time, sounding breathless and embarrassed.

“We totally interrupted. We’re sorry. Come on, Kanzaki” Kuro grabbed his unit mate by the shoulders to guide him back of the room.

“No! No…” “No, n-no.. you didn’t interrupt…” Both Eichi and Keito interjected. Eichi noticed that Keito’s face was incredibly red, but he imagined that his own was flustered as well.

“But Hasumi-dono wanted his glasses…”

“Y-Yes please, bring them here” Keito waved his hand.

Kuro eyed Eichi. The blond cleared his throat. “I-I was trying to take the cape off…”

“Ah. And you needed to press your faces together for that?” Kuro asked, not even bothering to hide his smirk.

“I-I couldn’t see the mechanism..” Eichi explained.

Kuro hummed as me moved to stand behind Keito. “Maybe because it’s made to be de-attached if you pull.. for behind..” He demonstrated, showing the separated cap in his hand. “It’s easier this way, right?”

“Ah.. w-well, I-I thought it wouldn’t mind..— Good thing you came” Eichi chuckled awkwardly.

“Yes. Thank you Kiryu. And E-Eichi. For trying” Keito, finally wearing his glasses again, smiled faintly to the blond.

“Of course. I’m gonna… I’m gonna go. With the rest. And— and congratulations! For winning, you were marvelous!”

“Thank you Tenshouin-dono”

“T-Thank you Eichi” Keito and Eichi’s eyes met, but they quickly diverted the glance.

After Eichi left, the Akatsuki members began changing their clothes. Keito could feel Kuro’s eyes on him the whole time.

“Stop staring at me” Keito hissed.

“I’m sorry.” Kuro chuckled. “It’s just that wow… I mean not totally unexpected but…”

“What’s that supposed to mean!?”

“I’m sorry we interrupted Danna, really”

“I-I don’t know what you mean… there was nothing to be interrupted. You’re seeing things..” Keito huffed.

“Was Tenshouin chocking?” Kuro questioned.

“What!? No! Why would you say that?”

“Cause what it looked like was, that you were performing some kind of vertical mouth to mouth on him.” Kuro smirked teasingly. “So, if Tenshouin wasn’t suffocating, you were about to kis—”

Keito covered Kuro’s mouth with his hand. He met eyes with his friend. His face was completely red and flushed. Kuro‘s chuckle was muffled by the hand. “Danna..” Kuro said removing the hand. “If you both like each other it’s fine you know”

Keito diverted his eyes. “Eichi doesn’t…”

“That’s not what it looked like” Kuro patted Keito on the back.

“Kiryu-dono, Hasumi-dono, is everything all right?”

“Yeah Kanzaki, let’s go meet the others”

The three idols went to meet their friends again. But, Keito noticed that Eichi wasn’t with them.

“He left” Wataru whispered in the green haired ear, starling him.

“Did he say why?” Keito asked.

Wataru shook his head. “But he looked very flushed. What were the both of you doing in that room… all alone~” He smirked suggestively.

“D-Don’t imagine things…”

Wataru smiled sweetly. “Give him time. He might have realized something that caught him a little bit by surprise, fufu”

When the celebration ended, the idols went to their respective homes. Keito had diner with his family and prepared to go to bed, but then his brother entered his room.

“Keito. Tenshouin-kun—”

Upon hearing Eichi’s name, Keito’s heart skipped a beat. “Eichi? What’s wrong? Is he okay? Is he in the hospital? He was perfectly fine this afternoon—”

“Ma Keito… you worry too much!” Eichi suddenly appeared behind Keito’s brother.

“Eichi..?”

“I’ll leave two alone” Keito’s brother excused himself and left the two childhood friends looking at each other without uttering a word.

“Are you.. okay? I believe it’s not abnormal that I worry if I get a message from you at this hours… cause it could only be something urgent..” Keito broke the silence.

Eichi sighed and smiled softly, entering his friend’s bedroom and sitting in front of him on the tatami. “I’m fine Keito. I-I guess you’re right, coming at this hours, it might alarm someone about something bad happening…”

“Then why are you here? You could have come in the morning”

Eichi looked at his lap. “I-I know I wouldn’t have been able to sleep…”

“It’s because we…” Keito muttered in a hushed voice. Green eyes met blue ones. “F-Forget it. It’s better if we don’t—”

Eichi furrowed his eyebrows. “So you want to pretend that it didn’t happen?” His tone sounded a little bit hurt and angry.

“I’m not the one who left without saying anything!” Keito argued.

Eichi looked at the side. “I needed to think…”

“Think about what?”

“Us, Keito” Eichi stared at his childhood friend.

Keito swallowed down. “And what conclusion have you reached?”

Pink color was spreading on Eichi’s cheeks. “That’s unfair. You’re not going to share nothing on your own feelings..?”

“How can it be unfair? You’re the one who came to my house at night!” Keito argued.

“And I shouldn’t have. It’s obvious that you don’t..—” Eichi tried to get up to leave but Keito rapidly grabbed his arm preventing him from doing so.

“I’m afraid” Keito confessed. “I’m afraid that this could ruin our relationship. I can’t lose you Eichi”

“Keito” Eichi seated next to his childhood friend, with their knees touching. “Don’t you say that we have an unbreakable bond? Have a little faith in us” The blond held Keito’s hand and squeezed it. “I realized that I like you, Keito. I really like you”. Blue eyes landed on green ones. Then Eichi’s glare lowered to the green haired’s lips.

Eichi had not been able to stop thinking about kissing Keito. He thought that once the moment passed, he could forget about it, but the desire didn’t leave. It was like a fire that wouldn’t extinguish until his lips tasted Keito’s.

Eichi moved closer, parting his lips.  As Keito didn’t move away, he took it as a permission to continue, but then Keito exhaled. “Eichi, I’m not a vampire”

The Fine idol blinked surprised, thinking that he hadn’t heard right. “What..? Keito? I know—”

“I was dressed different, the clothes, the gel, the fangs… you felt some kind of attraction, but—”

Eichi snorted. “No. Keito! It’s true that you looked incredibly sexy in your costume today, but I like the Keito before me more.” The blond offered a fond smile. “I prefer my childhood friend, the person who is always next to me and who cares for me. He might be boring sometimes and a worrywart, but I wouldn’t change a thing about you Keito” Eichi pressed Keito’s glasses to his nose. “Not even your glasses addiction. Fufu”

“S-Shut up! And you are an incorrigible bastard. You drive me crazy!”

“Fufu. I hope that in the good way~” Eichi giggled.

“Obviously no— Eichi.. w-what?”

The blond pressed his forehead into Keito. “Don’t think so much Keito… show me how you truly feel…” He whispered in a hushed voice.

“Brat…” Keito whispered back before advancing to capture Eichi’s lips on a kiss.

They met in the middle and as Eichi had  expected, it was fire. He was burning inside. He wanted more and more of Keito. Their lips moved as if they had been kissing for years. Eichi knew he would never get tired of it, and Keito felt as if he was dreaming, but the warm sensation on his belly told him that it was true.

When the broke the kiss they were both panting hard. Eichi seated on Keito’s lap and the Akatsuki idol took advantage of the position to place a kiss on Eichi’s neck. The blond responded by letting out a soft moan, so Keito repeated the action again, leaving a trail of small kisses down Eichi’s sensitive skin, until he reached the collar.

“Keito… ah-”

And then he placed his teeth on the skin and took a little bite.

“Keito!” Eichi quickly covered the place where Keito bit him with his hand, and glared at his childhood friend with shock in his eyes.

“Perhaps I’m partly Vampire after all…” Keito teased.

Eichi playfully slapped him as Keito laughed and pushed their lips back together.
