After the incident with the accelerator sticking, an adventure that the Cairo Quick Mart had enjoyed even less than Puck, Puck’s mom finds exactly one vehicle in their budget: a 1993 Toyota Previa.
“At least it’s not older than you,” she tells him.
“It’s the same age!”
After a few weeks, the minivan starts to grow on him. When he’s tired after practice, he can take a short nap. He rents out the back to people who want to skip a class or two or three, they figure out a way to strap Artie in for the trip to Sectionals, and then over the semester break, Finn has the best idea ever.
“Let’s start a band,” he says, and the first thing Puck realizes, once he says ‘yes’ and they start discussing names, is that with the minivan, they finally have a vehicle that will fit an entire drum kit.
