Chapter Text
He felt soft grass below his feet and opened his eyes to reveal a house. It was about 2 stories tall and made of red bricks broken up by a layer of grey stone brick and long thin windows for both floors. The doorway was made of oak wood and led to the pathway that stretched forward towards him. Made of cobblestone it seemed to float atop the water of the lake the house was built in the center of. The sunset that was currently alighting the sky with warm oranges and soft pinks served as the perfect backdrop to the house as the colors reflected on the water and made it almost seem as if the house was floating in its own miniature sky. He decided to go towards the house and see who might live inside. At the very least he could hope they might allow him to take shelter there as night was quickly approaching and soon wandering the forest behind him would be extremely dangerous. He stepped up the path to the door and knocked.
Someone called from inside,“Come on in its open!” As he opened the door he noticed someone in a light blue shirt with the start of a white speckled red mushroom growth peeking out of the brown of his hair. As they turned around he could see they had a pair of goggles with dark tinted lenses propped on top of his head. His shirt had a white box with a red border on the front of it leaving sharp contrast with the dark blue eyes that seemed to shine with an air of kindness as they found their way over to him. “Hi there! Its nice to see a new face on the server! My names George, whats yours?” He stood stunned by the strangers kindness for a second then replied, “ My names Tommy.”
