Work Text:
“Me mum’s banned from the club,” Ringo whispers one night out of the blue. George can’t help his laughter.
“Sorry, what?”
“Me dad too.”
“What club?”
“Before I was born they went to the club one night and they got so sloshed that she kinda threw him out the window—” Ringo pauses to burp up bubbles of beer — “and then she just kept bitterjuggin’ to Hoagy Carmichael—”
George snorts what’s he just drunk through his nose.
“Don’t!” Ringo pouts. “It’s a serious problem!”
“How so?”
“I don’t wanna get banned from the club.” Ringo nuzzles his face into the side of George’s neck. “An’ you can’t throw me out the window.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.”
“Promise?”
“Course.”
“Really promise?”
George snogs him.
Empty beers topple to the floor as they go dance their night away in bed.
