Hybrids had a complicated history, but not Zedaph.
Zed had always been a grass-eating, bah-bleating sheep hybrid who knew what he was, owned what he was, and encouraged others to recognise him for who he was since he first arrived in Impulse's life. Tango took a few years to light up the room, but Zed had always been one to smile with his full set of vegetarian-suited teeth. Zed never felt ashamed of who he was.

When Zedaph had first found her in the scrapyard, she’d been little more than a telegraph sounder. She wasn't even capable of making dihs or dahs. Just dots and dashes.
She was, by every definition of the word, useless.
But Zedaph had never believed in such a word.
Zedaph finds a broken polygotic interpreter android in a scrapyard, and makes it his personal mission to repair her to the best of his ability. This impulsive decision ends up changing Zedaph's life, and Hermitcraft itself, for the better in ways he could have never imagined.
