Summary
It was a rainy day in Chicago as Hector Munday would walk through the streets, umbrella in hand as he thought of the criminal behavior conference he had just spoken for. Munday had recently cracked a case that shook the whole world, because of it, he was seen as a hero and was invited to many criminology events. He didn't feel like a hero though, in fact he had been feeling horrible these past days. Proving the guilt of Manny Sherman had left him restless. He was supposed to be happy that one less devil in the world existed, Manny was put to death after all. Munday felt conflicted however, he had worked his entire life to serve people and to bring justice to those who deserved it, but his conversations with Manny had changed him. Munday struggled to understand the violent urges that were starting to grow inside him. It was as if Sherman had infected him with his views of murder as an artform, like the devil himself was slowly creeping into Munday. Munday would shake his head, lowering and closing his umbrella as he walked into a nearby bar, hopefully he could drink the feeling away.
