Who Says Omegas Have No Power?

Summary:

Or, three times Bruce and Oswald take care of Edward, using any and all means necessary.

Chapter 1: Bruce

Chapter Text

Bruce grins at the sights and smells that greet him as he walks into the kitchen.

Home-safe-comfortable-happy, his scent whispers. He’d actually had a decent night’s sleep for once, coffee is brewing, and Edward is practically passed out in his arms. Life is good.

“Good morning, Master Bruce.” Alfred’s busy over the stove. “I see you’ve captured a rogue.”

“Found him holed up in the library study,” the omega grins. “Been there since last night, I think. It was a struggle, but justice always prevails.”

“Is that so.” Alfred looks up from industriously scrambling a pan full of eggs. “Charges?”

“The usual. I can think of but one punishment.”

Raising an eyebrow, the butler gestures at the laden table. “Do you presume to mete out justice by sentencing him to breakfast?”

“I do indeed.” Bruce lets a touch of Bat-Voice into his tone. “This dastardly villain shall be fed before the noon hour.”

“No,” Edward protests. He struggles limply. “I’m busy. I’ll eat later.”

Without letting go or loosening his hold, Bruce brings a hand up to the back of Edward’s neck. "It can wait. You need food."

"Traitor."

"You scruff me all the time, Eddie. Can't let you have all the fun, can I? Now what do you want in your eggs?"
