Summary
The thing about having enhanced senses, especially when no one else seems to realize that, is that you sense a lot of things no one would expect you to. You find out information that agencies like SHIELD would do anything to hide. And sometimes, you uncover horrible things hidden within the agency one of your best friends during the war founded.
But luckily for Steve, he's got the Avengers by his side, willing to accept what his enhanced senses have noticed, and to help him whatever is going on with SHIELD.

Summary
Sometimes the changes the super soldier serum brings to a person are beyond mere enhancement of their muscles, healing, and senses. Sometimes it seems to bring them past human, and their behavior can seem a little animalistic at times. But of course, they're only human, just like the rest of their teammates. Sometimes you just need the most extreme of situations (and their closest friend) to see it.
(Not as ominous as the summary may sound, it's mostly fluffy scenarios with some of angst for spice)

Summary
Steve gets hit on a STRIKE mission and is reported dead to the Avengers and the world. In reality, a magical accident trapped him in the body of a dog and Hydra saw their chance to swoop in and capture him.

Gotham is well used to Rogue attacks. There's always something blowing up or getting robbed or a Bat dropping from nowhere and kicking someone's teeth out. Gotham has adapted to this way of life. Of Rogues and Bats and Birds. Of gas attacks and fate decided by a flip of a coin. But there's something different about this latest attack. People across Gotham--from regular citizens to Rogues--are falling asleep. And not waking up. This rash of unexplained comas has left the city in shambles. There's no cause, no reason, and no answers.
With every Gotham vigilante working around the clock to try and find a cure, everyone is stretched thin. When the sickness hits one of their own, Jason decides he's had enough.
