Summary
Love is always a burden. And in the land of kings and dragons, love is a rare occurence at best. Vaerya was adopted by the House of the Dragon as a tribute to the gods made by a kind and compassionate princess who, in exchange for her good will, expected to bear a healthy child for her beloved prince.
Growing alongisde the blood of old Valyria and the heirs of the dragon had its challenges, but none could compare with the hardships that came with attempting not to fall for the rogue prince and his devious charm.
