Summary
It was closing in on a year since Maggie and Negan left for New York. Neither having expressed interest in returning home after both had experienced a tragic loss; Maggie losing Hershel, and Negan losing his wife and unborn child. As a storm threatens to erupt outside, Maggie finds one threatening to erupt inside herself. She doesn’t know how long she can do this; how long she can live the routine of their current life and partnership. She’s in need of something…some kind of release from the buildup, from her fear of the future, and everything she’s still holding onto. Unbeknownst to Maggie, Negan’s in need of the same.
