    Eddie. What is this?

    Eddie blinks in the obscenely bright light of the fluorescents to see a thin tendril of Venom stretching from his neck toward a string of hideous bits of greenery hanging off a shelf.

    “Uh…” Eddie peers closer. What the fuck is that? “A frog?”

    Are frogs important to Christmas?

    “No,” Eddie says mindlessly as he inches closer to the amphibious monstrosity. “They’re just frogs.”

    There is a whole army of them. Do they work for Santa? Are they his scouts?

    Eddie snorts. “Santa’s not aggressive.”

    We do not believe it.

    Eddie doesn't like the holidays at the best of times but now that he's let his feelings slip about Venom, he's feeling the reason for the season even less. Venom tries to help because of course they do...
