You were sitting in the classroom silently counting down for the bell to ring. When the bell finally did ring, you ran out of the class to your locker. You quickly put everything you needed into your backpack, and turn away, walking quickly home. "Hey! Where do you think you're going?" You slowly turn around and see Aoko's group "Home..." You pleaded she would let you go today. "Not before we're done with you!" Aoko and her group stomp up to you.
Aoko quickly pushes you down to the floor and laughs. "Ha! Thats where you belong, new kid." You look away, holding upset tears. Yun gets closer and examines your face. Instead of laughing at your tears, as you thought she would, she sent you an apologetic look. Yun stepped away, looking away from Aoko and the group. You watched as some of the girl mouthed 'sorry' to you behind Aoko. Aoko pulls you back up.
"You think you're so cute and innocent, don't you shy girl?" "N-no..." "Really? Liar!" Aoko drops you and you land harshly on the floor. "Go home, weirdo." You quickly get up and rush out the door. Some of the girls looked like they didn't approve of what Aoko was doing. 'They must be afraid to stand up for me, because they think Aoko might get mad at them!' When you reached home you run to your room.
Once you reach your room, you grab a pillow and let out a few tears. You didn't know why Aoko did that to you. She didn't even know you well enough! You had just moved here a week ago, and you were really shy, since you got bullied in the past. So how much could she know about you?

The next day as you were walking to school, a boy named Jimin came up to you. You knew he wasn't that bad. He had waved to you a few times in some of the classes you both had together. "Hey Y/n." "Hi Jimin." He stopped you, "I saw what happened yesterday," "W-what did you see?" "I saw Aoko bullying you. You need to stand up for yourself, or Aoko's never going to stop." You look away embarrassed. "I can't. It's not that easy."
"Look, I saw Aoko's group, there all didn't want her to make fun of you. I'm pretty sure if she tried to hit you, they definitely wouldn't join in. Plus I'll be by your side all day. So if she tries anything, you have me for back up." You nod. "Well, if I have back up...I guess I could try to stand up to her." Jimin does one of his, beautiful smiles. "Good! I hate seeing people getting bullied. Now that it's you, it's personal. I will get involved, and if I get detention, oh well."
You blushed. You smiled. "Thanks." When you both reached the school, you both went your separate ways to go to your lockers. When you turned around you saw Aoko and her group. You looked around and saw Jimin no where to be found. "Hey stupid. Who are you looking for?" "No one." You remembered what Jimin said. You knew you needed to stand up for yourself. Taking a deep breath, you look Aoko in the eyes.
"Aoko, you need to stop." " Excuse me?" Her group looked at you and kept mouthing 'No! Don't do it!' You ignored them. "You heard me. You need to stop bullying me. It's not funny. It's not cool. No one likes you doing it. So stop being an asshole to me." "You DO NOT tell me what to do! The girls here agree with me. Don't you girls?" She turned and looked and they all nodded nervously.
"That's another thing, girls. If you do nothing and say nothing when someone else is hurting someone, then your silence says, "This is how it should be." You aren't helping by saying nothing to stop her. Aoko, they kept saying sorry and they don't approve of what you are doing. The just don't want you to get mad at them." You looked at the girls behind her, and then back to Aoko. You looked back to the girls behind Aoko.
"Also, by being by standers, you guys are being bullies too by not telling her to stop." They looked down ashamed. "Shut up loser! Why are you suddenly standing up for yourself?!" "Because someone who I love very much, told me I should that he would have my back. And don't call me a loser." I'll call you whatever I want!" "I'm serious Aoko! You know, pulling someone down will never help you reach the top." She stopped talking and glared at you.
You continued talking. "It's perfectly fine to be different. I don't know why you choose to bully me, but it ends NOW. I don't care. You say something rude, I'm done ignoring it. Bullying is a serious think Aoko. You need to stop. What gives you the right to bully someone?" Aoko stood there quietly shocked. "Nothing gives you the right to treat me, and anyone else that way. You aren't better than everyone! Stop acting like you are."
You walk away to class, leaving Aoko and her group behind. Jimin suddenly comes up behind you. "I saw you stand up for yourself. Good job." You blush. "Thanks."
Jimin leans over and kisses your cheek. "What was that for?" "I heard you say you stood up for yourself because someone you love very much. It was me right? Please tell me it was, or else I just made a big fool of myself." You giggle. "You're right. It was you." He kissed you.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" You blushed and nodded. "Of course!" "You know Y/n, you're not so shy now." You nod. "Yup!" You both walk into the classroom hand in hand.
